I'm not sure why they're so expensive, other than the fact that they're hard to come by, so whatever the market dictates.
The date on the outside of the plastic bag my two packs of chips came in was 2021.
Melted chocolate can be combined with a little cream to make a tasty sauce to serve on top of hot chocolate. You can also finely chop or crush it. As if it were chocolate chips, it melts.
If the cookies are still warm, they'll most likely melt. I usually bake them in cookies (following the recipe on the package's back), and they're delicious.

If it were possible, I'd give no stars. I got this 2-in-1. 5 days after placing the order, I received a package of Andres mint chips for baking. Both packages had been completely melted together inside each other to form solid "bricks" (neither package had an expiration date). When I tried to request a return/refund, the messaging stated that it was not returnable. This is inedible and unfit for human consumption!.
Another star deducted due to the use of artificial ingredients. Without a doubt, I made a mistake by not doing a double-check. I'll double-check the ingredients, but I'm not going to buy this candy again. Yes, even if it's candy, I'm that into REAL food! I placed my order for these two bags in early May, and they arrived on May 19th, a hot day in Central Texas. That was also a blunder on my part. Self-reminder: DO NOT ORDER CHOCOLATES VIA MAIL BETWEEN THE MONTHS OF JULY AND AUGUST To avoid melting, go between April and early November. br>br>Fortunately for me, I was only buying these to make candy, not to bake with. It's a little sloppy, but it's still tasty.
They should make chopped up bits for baking, I've always wished. Fortunately, I discovered the pieces and have improvised using them in a variety of dessert recipes, all of which have been well received by the recipients! Imagine my delight when I discovered that I could order the bits on Amazon because they were no longer available in stores! If you keep them in the freezer, they're perfect for some decadent snacking.
We used to be able to find mint-flavored toothpaste. We tried these as a substitute for Nestle's chocolate chips, which worked perfectly in our cookie recipe. The flavor was good, but instead of a burst of chocolate mint when biting into a chip, the entire cookie tasted minty. We didn't expect it to be this way, but it was delicious.
1 bag of Andes bits should be mixed into 2 boxes of brownie mix batter. Bake, then decorate with crushed candy canes and cream cheese frosting. They're always a hit, but they slice a little messy, so if you're giving them away, bake them in cupcake liners.
Both bags had completely melted when my order arrived. I planned on incorporating the chips into my ice cream. To be able to use the packages in the Ice Cream, I had to freeze them first and then pound them with my rolling pin to break them up. I was a little let down. The tiny 2 oz. It was a joke with the ice pack. It had no hard edges. I believe you should consider where you'll be shipping something like this. It's been 100 degrees here, so anything like this will melt quickly. I believe they should be shipped directly to the recipient's home rather than being dropped off at the post office. I'm not going to order them from you in the future. I expected to be able to simply open the packages without having to go through the process I did. Mary Caravello, thank you so much.
I wasn't sure if these were of good quality or if they were vintage. It turned out that these baking chips were actually quite good. This is a seller from whom I will buy again!.
I never seem to be able to find these in my local stores for some reason. While this is the most expensive option, there is no better substitute for a good 'ole Andies mint. These arrived on time (and even a day early!). I was able to prepare the dessert for which I required them. br>br>One piece of advice: Make the cookie recipe on the package, but reduce the amount of flour required by half a cup. They taste fantastic!.
