In China, there have been numerous reports of additives, poisons, and unfavorable farming practices, particularly in the case of garlic. Personally, I only purchase fresh garlic from the United States and seek out other garlic products that are not grown in China.
There are two jars in my refrigerator. There are a total of 12 and 13 bulbs in this set. They're fantastic! I keep a copy of these on my computer at all times.
The container is in good condition. sealed and fairly durable I'd say a year (possibly longer, but I'm not sure what their expiration date is) if you keep it cool and dark. When there's a price drop, I usually stock up, so I keep 2 of everything. I only use three containers at a time, and I've never had a bad clove or container. Mine is still perfectly fresh after being opened for two days. It usually lasts 3 months, but not always!

So far, I've used it in eggs, soup/broth, chicken, burgers, compound butter, cheese, pasta, rice, bread, and a variety of other dishes. These are fantastic. This is something you should try if you like garlic in any form. It comes highly recommended.

I would strongly suggest it. I had no idea I could get black garlic for this cheap; I always thought it was something to treat yourself to whenever you saw it at trader joe's, where it's a bit pricey and I found it inconvenient to peel and use, as well as messy, small bulbs. I will most certainly be a repeat customer for this particular brand. It's so simple to peel, use, and cut, and it's such a good deal. Storage and packaging are excellent. On pizza, this is fantastic. It tastes like a sweet, nutty balsamic or aged fig. You shouldn't expect it to taste like regular garlic. It is, without a doubt, unique.
I must admit that I was a little concerned about this product coming from China because it seemed like such a long way to travel, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was also my first time trying Black Garlic, which I found to be quite tasty. This surprised me because I despise the taste and odor of regular garlic. I was intrigued by the product's health benefits, which piqued my interest. I'm going to buy it again. I ate one clove every morning for almost two weeks, and the container lasted that long. And you'll want more. . . br>br>This isn't raw garlic; it's not roasted garlic. It's a mix of roasted garlic and something else. . . it's difficult to describe. I tried some of this "as is," which might have been a mistake, but it didn't deter me. It has the texture of a gummy bear and is sweet with an almost anise flavor, almost like black licorice, but not quite (and I despise both black licorice and anise). So don't be put off by that. This was used in an aioli (fancy mayo) on bison burgers, and it was ridiculously good. good. I sliced whole cloves of black garlic into thin slivers and mixed them into the ground beef for beef patties the last time I made them. They were sautéed with mushrooms and green peppers (I mean, how boring is that?). ) and then there was MAGIC. I'm serious. The sweet/savory slivers melted into the vegetables, thickening the juices. . . I've made it four times since then for my husband and me. My red spaghetti sauce now contains shaved bits. It turned out to be the best sauce I've ever made. I used it to make deviled eggs (warning: it discolors the yolks). For a caprese salad, I added a clove to my favorite vinaigrette, which brought out the fresh basil flavor. I was making butter with thyme for steaks when I decided to throw in some minced black garlic. . . the next night, I served it with New York Strips. It was almost religious in nature. Fresh chives, boursin cheese, and black garlic stuffed chicken breasts Finally, and most importantly: When caramelizing onions, add this ingredient. No, that isn't the pinnacle. I'm still on the lookout for the ideal. I don't care for it on its own and wouldn't put it on fruit, but that's just me.
That is not the case for me. I've tried roasted garlic before and it's fantastic. These gelatinous blobs surprised me with how sweet they were. I don't like sugary flavors, and this one appears to be a delicious chocolate truffle, but it isn't. Just a heads up: if you've never tried them before, get the small container. Perhaps it was the fact that they were from China that contributed to the perception. Next time, I'll read more carefully because I'm looking for a product made in the United States of America.
