It's impossible to calculate the cost per serving or the number of containers. This is a natural product with a 20 oz container and bulbs of various sizes; it isn't cheap to begin with, so deciding the cost of salt per serving would be similar.
It is not necessary to refrigerate the product after it has been opened. It only requires storage in a cool, dry location. After being opened, the product should last up to a year. If you do decide to refrigerate the product, we recommend only taking out the product you want to use while it is still in the refrigerator to avoid a large temperature change that could cause the product to sweat and keep it fresh for longer.
Not sure. It simply states that it is an east Asian product. It's Kosher-certified, and I've tried a variety of brands, but Polar is by far my favorite.

These black garlic cloves are impossible to live without for more than a week. I bought them for the first time at Costco and was immediately hooked. I haven't been able to find them in stores and wish I could buy them in bulk. Instead of five stars, I'm giving four because, unlike the other container, this one had some cloves that didn't turn out, and I'd already eaten three before I got to the bad ones; otherwise, I would have gone back for another batch. This is the first time this has happened to me with this product; they taste great, but I'm not sure what went wrong. I'm not sure how I can contact the seller directly.
I just got here. I bought this for my father's birthday, but apparently having the container smashed, the contents spilled into the bag, the lid shot off, and the seal burst open is considered a quality product; I have no idea how long the garlic has been exposed or whether it's even safe to eat at this point. It was a disaster.
My mother gave me a 5 oz garlic clove as a gift. I received the item when I was expecting it. Moisture was present on the container's interior walls. After that, I opened the container to let all of the moisture out. The garlic felt moist when I touched it. The garlic's shell, on the other hand, should not be removed. It must not be damp. It was supposed to be crisp. crackly. Then there was the time when I had to cut it apart. It was sticking together because it was so wet. It was necessary for me to disassemble it. In the shell, there was mold. That's revolting. br> I had previously purchased the 20 ounce and had been very pleased with it.
This product (Polar Black Garlic) was first purchased from Costco a few months ago. It goes great in meals, sandwiches, and smoothies for my family. There is no garlic odor, and it tastes slightly sweet to me. So, what exactly is all the fuss about? According to what I've read, black garlic has cholesterol-lowering, sugar-stabilizing, blood-pressure-lowering, and cancer-prevention properties. It is referred to as a superfood. When I returned to Costco to purchase more, however, I discovered that it was a one-time offer. Amazon has stepped in to fill the void left by Costco's discontinuation of many items.
Although not everyone agrees with me, I believe it tastes like candy. I like the texture and find it easy to eat, but I have to remind myself not to eat too many of them. It's said to be beneficial in a variety of ways. The fermentation is supposed to INCREASE the allicin, which is like medicine for your body, but it barely tastes like garlic and leaves no aftertaste.
A friend from Chile introduced me to this black, fermented garlic, which he ate for health reasons. But I was blown away by the flavor, which was sweet and devoid of string garlic, and I quickly learned to use them mashed into a paste in a variety of pasta and fish sauces. One mashed bulb imparts a subtle, sweet flavor that is distinct yet delicate; itbr>has become a necessary cooking ingredient for me, along with my own dried garden tomatoes.
It took a little while to get used to the taste of black garlic, but it was worth it! It's a hit with my entire family. And this is a fantastic one! In addition, the price is reasonable. It's something we always have on hand, and it's great with sliced meats and crackers. Cheeses can be added as well. Salads are delicious with this. It's fantastic with cream cheese on naan bread.
It stinks awful, but if you go local, you won't be disappointed. If you want to save money by buying garlic from China, go ahead and take a chance because the root is removed and the garlic is bleached, which is disgusting! Thailand is better, as is California; always look for the root at the bottom; Chinese regulation is inconsistent; therefore, save a nickel and roll the dice! I grow my own black garlic, which is HEAVEN AND LOWERS CHOLESTRAL AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. GOOD LUCK GODS SPEED.
