Yes, it is possible to freeze it. I buy fresh hatch chilies, cut them up into small pieces, and freeze them for months at a time.
I purchased this item and find it to be excellent. Lime juice is an acidifier that is found naturally in the environment. As a home canner, I frequently add lime or lemon juice to the items I'm preserving in order to make them acidic enough to be safely canned at the lower temperatures of a water-bath canner. Bath canning is a method of preserving food in a water bath. Pressure cooker canning results in mushy vegetables due to the higher temperatures used in the process. I'm not sure if this is why the Young Guns Hatch Valley Green Chile has lime in it, but it makes sense to me. It's a great product because the lime juice tastes great, it's all natural, and it doesn't overpower the chile flavor.

I asked for extra hot, but got mild instead. Although they do not accept returns, I contacted Amazon and received a refund. Against my better judgment, I decided to give them another shot, and guess what? I was given mild once more! I'll never know if the extra hot green chili is actually good and spicy. Don't be a slacker!.
I ordered hot and received mild; however, they did include the hot purchase sticker on the back, which was a nice touch!.

The bottle had leaked and was damaged when I received it (it was cracked near the opening). I couldn't make a return/replacement when I tried; "No returns" was written on it. As a result, I paid $24. I spent $99 on a product that I had to discard.
When I go to a grocery store that sells Hatch chiles, I usually buy 3 pound frozen blocks. I came across these Young Guns in a plastic container at the grocery store and decided to give them a try. These are, without a doubt, delectable. br>br>I purchased these from Amazon because my local grocery store did not have them. br>br>I also sent some to my brother because I couldn't express how fantastic they are. I bought it once, but I can no longer afford it. It's time for a revision. Even though it is still quite expensive, I have ordered it again because I am addicted to it.
Everything I required/desired was available. I have a chili roaster, but it wasn't Hatch green chili season, so I had a hard time finding GOOD green chili here in the Midwest. To get good chilis, I have to drive back to New Mexico for an 18-hour round trip.
