My three cans arrived quickly, well packaged, with no dents, and were good until 04/23! I would highly recommend this seller! That's 16 months, and I'm sure I'll need more much sooner, so I'll definitely buy from this seller again! Always check to see if the green chilies you're getting are mild or hot. I prefer Mild so I can control the level of heat, and these are ideal for that in any recipe!.
For my cheese and chile enchiladas, I've been buying this product for a long time. Because peppers (of all types) are heavily sprayed, this is an excellent substitute for my recipes. Although I prefer a hotter pepper, this substitute works well. I get stems or other inedible plant materials from time to time, but I simply pick them out during the assembly process. It's the ideal size for preparing a single-serving meal. br>br>A little pricey, but that's to be expected given the price of most small portion cans. br>br>If anyone knows of a better organic chili for this type of recipe, please let me know.
The cans had been dented, and there were no labels to identify them. I used to believe that buying dented tin cans was risky because the dent could rust and make them unsafe to eat. And how do you know what you're getting if there are no labels on the cans?.
Making my own salsa is something I enjoy doing. This size of green chilies is ideal. I use two latas of well-cooked tomatoes (small in cubits), one of these chile latas, a pinch of dry jalapeos, and a pinch of salt. Sirva in the open air.
It has a 5-month expiration date! By then, I won't be able to use it. I placed an order a few months ago with an expiration date of 4/2023. 5/22 is the number.
We'll keep these in our pantry as a subscribe and save item! br>br>They're also very mild, as you'd expect from Green Chilies, which we like because we like to add our own 'hotness' and have been burned by other, non-green chile varieties. Green chile brands that are organic.
They were amazing in a verde chicken sour cream enchilada casserole that I made. br>I appreciate not having to worry about pesticides or weed killers on these.
It was exactly what I wanted, arrived on time, and there were no problems with the product! Thank you! Costs more than the store.
