Questions & Answers

Once a bottle is opened, I can't finish it in the recommended three weeks. Is it possible to put it in baggies and freeze it?

It's fine to freeze it or eat it within three weeks!

Is there a "mild" version of this?

There is a Mild, but it is not available at our store. I noticed mild for sale on the manufacturer's website. I hope this information is useful.

Is there a way to make it even hotter?

I haven't tasted it hotter, but you can boil Serrano or jalapeo chilies and chop up as many as you need to suit your taste. I like it just the way it is, but there are times when I need a little more heat, which is where these chillis come in handy.

Salsa with pineapple, mango, and jalapeo?

No, we're talking about a mild green chili sauce. This is fantastic. Slather it on and savor it.

It's a lot less expensive than going to New Mexico
5/5

As a former resident of New Mexico, I miss the chile; most places call it green chile by putting peppers in a jar, but it's really a mix of Tomatillos, Jalapeos, or (oh no) bell peppers. There's none of that nonsense here; this is the real deal. Only New Mexico green chiles are used. I can't find plain roasted 505 brand green chile where I live, but I won't have to drive to Hatch, New Mexico, to get a tote sack of the green gold and roast it at home. If only I could import the sunsets using my prime account.

Make a financial plan

Don't pay too much in this place. Go to Costco or arrange for a jar to be delivered to you by a Costco member. More than half the price listed on this page. When I walked down the Costco aisle and saw them, I wished I had known. There are hundreds of jars of these delicious green chilies.

The final product is excellent
3/5

The issue is with the seller. Take note of the TWO JARS in the advertisement. because there will only be ONE of them!
2. However, in no case- Keep in mind that the one you'll get is past its sell-by date, so you'll want to throw it away anyway. br>(However, if you can get your hands on a good batch, like the one I got at Costco before ordering more here, you'll be in for a treat! It is excellent; There's nothing like the old mush that's been sitting somewhere for two years.

The jar was not sealed and was leaking when it arrived
3/5

I was willing to pay more than double the Costco price for this product because I adore it (there is no Costco in my area and it is difficult to find locally). This seller, unfortunately, has failed me. My package was wet when it arrived, so I was expecting a broken jar right away. Instead, I discovered an open, leaking lid on one of the jars. Everything appeared to be in good working order, but an unsealed jar should never be trusted! It was necessary for me to discard it. "Well, this isn't a big deal," I reasoned. I'll simply contact the seller, who will promptly rectify the situation. ” Nope. I have no way of informing the seller about the issue! Everything I try simply redirects me to the Amazon return policy page, which states that this item is not eligible for return. As a result, I only have one jar of chili (which won't last long in my family). ) for the sum of twenty-five dollars The 505 brand chili is excellent in and of itself, but not at this price or with such a lack of communication. I'm not going to make the same mistake twice.

From a Chilean who can't get enough of the country
5/5

I grew up in New Mexico and adore green chile, but I've since moved and miss the readily available Hatch chile, which is the best, in my opinion, so I knew I'd struck gold when I came across these large jars. It has a nice flavor, a good amount of heat, and it's so easy to use. I should mention that some of the roasted skin will be present in the chile, but this only adds to its authenticity in my opinion. In the event of a breakage, I recommend only buying from a seller who "fulfills through Amazon. ".

Although the product is excellent, the delivery is abysmal! I've ordered this product three times and have never been disappointed, but this time the delivery was terrible, the bottles were broken, and the carmen and electronics inside were destroyed! Maybe a contractor instead of an Amazon driver?

PRODUCT THAT HAS BEEN OPENED BEFORE! WAISTED FOR TWENTY DOLLARS! This $20 jar of green chiles had been opened, and the contents were seeping out, soaking the inside of the delivery box
3/5

The adhesive packing tape was strewn about inside the box, as if someone had reached inside. I took the box off my front porch as soon as it was delivered this morning, as I do with every Amazon delivery, to ensure that no one tampered with it while it was sitting there. My wife and I each have three Alexas, and when we receive delivery alerts, we immediately respond. When I opened the bubble wrap, I discovered the jar's lid was missing and the contents were all over it. In addition, the jar lacked adequate packing material to keep it safe. br>br>I'm hesitant to eat the green chiles because I don't know how long they've been out of the fridge, so I'm going to throw them away. I'm very disappointed that I won't be able to return this item and will have to bear a $20 loss. I will never purchase this product again, and I will warn all of my Facebook friends to do the same. I only gave it one star because I couldn't give it a negative star rating; otherwise, I would have given it NEGATIVE FIVE STARS.

Hatch 505 green chili, flame roasted
5/5

Living in New Mexico, I use this chili on a daily basis. My sister, on the other hand, lives in Illinois and was desperate for chicken enchiladas. Before my trip, I sent her two jars. We ate chicken enchiladas, breakfast burritos, and green chili stew in addition to chicken enchiladas. It was a big hit with her entire family. This is by far the most effective. By 505, Hatch had roasted a green chili in the flames!.
