There are no broken pieces! The peppers have a nice meaty and firm texture and we have been looking for them for a long time. Mrs. Carroll New Hampshire, one of our family's staples, goes in them along with cheese. They are no longer available to anyone all other packers have gone to dice It was very kind of you to provide those chilies!

Today I was reviewing items on Amazon and came across Hatch chilis. I took a look at their entire product line. The most common criticism of the Hatch chili is that it isn't from New Mexico, where it comes from a 27 oz can (which I had never seen before as I wasn't looking for that size). For the first time, I ordered three small cans in September so that I could have their ingredients on hand whenever I prepared a recipe that called for them. After looking over the cans I ordered, I felt that they were really good. Amazon's description is false, as it should be. On the cans, I see the same wording as on the larger cans, showing that the chilies are grown in Mexico. The whole practice is just plain deceptive. Furthermore, you might wonder why Amazon hasn't corrected their information since it has been pointed out to them by others?.

Yummo. I think this is a wonderful product. It is the right size for a casserole or The peppers in each can were of a nice size. 2 people can fit in it perfectly. It doesn't appear that they are hot, but sure are Because I was unable to find this size in the grocery store, I was very pleased to find this one. While the big can is just as good, there are just too many peppers for us to eat. As for the price, I was pleased as well. Shipments are delivered quickly. I can promise you that you will not be disappointed if you order this item.
For unknown reasons, whole green chilies are no longer readily available in the Roaring Fork Valley, so this is my only way to get In addition to putting green chilies on all my sandwiches and making a lot of my own dishes, I use them in a lot of my cooking as well. I paid more for these than I would have in a store, but they are truly worth it.
Green chilies are hard to find in local stores, so you have to order them on Amazon. Even though the price is a bit higher than I thought it would be, I understand that I am paying for convenience. If they sold them on the shelf, I would definitely purchase them there. Served in perfect condition, everything was excellent, the spice wasn't too hot but had just the right flavor to mix into meals to add some intensity without making people who can't take heat sick.
It's hard to find these at the markets so I was glad to be able to shop Amazon for them. Mild is the best word to describe them. It was chili rellanos for dinner. A little pricey for what you get, but you can't get any other kind of food like this.
I don't know what Hatch NM is like, but it's very good.
For the most part, I use them as a go-to A lunch date The following recipe calls for two small tortillas topped with grated cheese and Hatch chilies. Then flip them over and brown the other side and pop them onto a plate. They are excellent with or without salsa, pepper sauce, or sour cream.
