As soon as we hear "fermented tofu," we immediately think of furu, an ingredient used to flavor various vegetables and meat dishes in China. As well as having some of the smell of a very ripe Camembert cheese, it has a similar texture and feel. Tofu stinky is also very fermented tofu that includes an Asian sweet chili sauce and is deep-fried. As far as I can tell, it's very popular in Taiwan as street food or snack food. We are not talking about either of these products. The sauce has triangles of firm, fleshy tofu in it. It has a very spicy taste. suggest that it can be served as is, heated in the sauce, or used as a hot pot stock if you add another liter of water to it. Hot pot is an option I decided to give it a try. I did not find the spicy nature of the stock to be to my liking, as it was a bit too much for me to handle. As soon as I drained the broth and rinsed the tofu, I tasted it on its own. The tofu isn't fermented or stinky like most of the tofu I've had in the past. The mouthfeel is soft, but the umami flavor is not there, nor is there the rich umami taste I expected. I knew that the soy-flavored pieces were very firm, and acted the same way as the soy-flavored pieces The tofu I find at my Chinese market is sometimes simmered. I checked out my second package the next day, and the tofu here had a smoother texture and seemed to smell more fermented. As you can see, what you have here is a very spicy hot pot stock with chunks of partially fermented tofu. While it's not as fermented as I thought it would be, it does have a hint of that tangy taste. If you are looking for a spicy hot pot stock, then this may be what you need.

My favorite food is trying out new cuisines and I enjoy a wide range of cuisine. The one I turn to It is common to find South Indian food to be prepared at home. Since I'm not allergic to spicy or unusual foods, I'm not totally opposed to them. To sum it all up, I do not like this product. The smell of the kitchen after it was heated up really made it smell like something had died at the stove (truly). My mouth watered at the smell of it, which was the most unappetizing scent I've ever experienced Although my daughter reported that it smelled like dog poop to her, I thought it smelled like decay and death to me. No matter how you slice it, dinner didn't exactly get us excited. In my unenthusiastic experimentation with the tofu and sauce, I was surprised to find that both have heat levels that are suitable only for people who have already burned up all the heat. A portion of their palate consists of taste receptors. Mala spicy fermented tofu from Boiling Point offers the typical stinky tofu smell, but it is not as strong (which might be as good as it gets), and it's a bit more like dry tofu in texture and taste. This sandwich is firmer than what I remember finding in Taiwan, and it has the flavor of a spicy sauce, which I enjoyed.
