Sugar was used in the cure, so what was the problem? There is no sugar absorption by the meat. It has no sugar in it. Bacon meat does not have any sugar.
Those substances are free of charge for anything certified organic. I wish you good food!

In light of the above, I was skeptical of the bacon, as were other reviewers It appears to have a standard price, but I bought it based on the reviews and because Amazon Fresh did not provide any options and directions Cut the bacon into pieces. We decided to cook this pastry in the oven just three slices after receiving it because we thought it looked very fatty. The food is good, but what a good one! There was minimal shrinkage and The package I received was full-sized and not half-full like the package reviewed by another reviewer Slices that are long, thick, and free of pieces or shreds. The taste and appearance of raw uncured bacon usually do not appeal to me however, in this case the final results are as good as any bacon I've ever enjoyed.
YUM! Another Pat LaFrieda favorite! I have been trying out their products since I started ordering from The products I have tried so far have all been excellent. I have, thus far, found the NY strip steak to be my favorite. I thought the bacon looked a little too fatty when I first got it. Upon opening the package, however, it was an absolutely gorgeous package. My bacon did not pop or crack as a result of water being sucked out of it during cooking. Cooked beautifully and tasted great. I am a fan of the flavor, although the flavor is on the mild side. There isn't much salt in it to cause my tongue to burn! My favorite thing about it is Currently I'm getting some more bread for the freezer and I'm going to get some more bread. Making some good BLTs would be nice. It is also great to season black eyed peas with. The meats are finally of a very high quality, and it is nice to have a company you can rely.
I was disappointed when I first saw this bacon in the package, as it looked so fat. In the end, however, it does not work out like that. Neither is there a lot of shrinkage. Still haven't quite grasped it because a lot of white is visible or maybe it's just muscle meat I am unable to Although I keep buying it because I find it to be wonderful.
