It's usually one of my go-to bacon recipes. I paid $9 for one item this time. 4 lbs of fatbr>07/13/20br>It's usually great bacon, but I ordered another order of mostly fat for $9br>disappointedbr>disappointed again way too much fat lacked the applewood flavor I'm used to with this bacon.
This is the best bacon my family has ever had. br>Even if you feel bad about eating a pig, this bacon will make you feel better. Imagine the heavens opening up with a choir singing hallelujah, a warm glow surrounding you, and you are instantly filled with joy. When you bite into this bacon, that's exactly what happens. br>My children will eat an entire package by themselves. br>The bacon's thickness is ideal for a variety of uses. Unlike other wimpy bacon, it does not flop over. It stands tall, as if it understands that its goal is to make you happy. br>If you're looking for bacon, this is the only place to go. br>Once you've gone Wright, there's no going back.
This bacon isn't for you if you're a bacon fan. It has no taste at all. 75% fat Look at the image. There isn't even a whiff of applewood smoke. It's pathetic to eat thick slices of FAT with no flavor. Don't throw your money away. Nueske's is far superior, and even Trader Joe's Apple Wood Smoked Bacon's house brand is superior: At $3, the butcher's sprouts bacon is superior. Per pound, it costs $99 Bristol Farms is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. You see what I mean. This bacon APPEARS to be delicious, but it is not. What a letdown!.
Bacon is one of my personal favorites. This company is fantastic in general. With pancakes, the maple one is also a must-try! I'm not a big fan of thick-skinned people in general. BUT, EVERY-THING COOKS PERFECTLY WITH THIS BACON. SINGLE- TIME! It's not as if you're dealing with a thick-skinned individual. Bacon that curls around the edges and won't cook properly in a frying pan should be cut. This stuff is genuine, if a little on the pricey side. I wish it was half the price, but it's still worth it, and it's consistently good each time; YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!.
This bacon is fantastic. It's not too smoky, has no strange flavors, and is made with high-quality pork. It is rather fat bacon, and if you slice it into thirds (I do this to better fit in pans), one of those thirds is 95% white fattiness. Granted, bacon is fatty even when it's lean, but this was a little excessive. The bacon also takes a long time to cook. Cooking all thick sliced bacon is a much more difficult task, and even a small difference in thickness can make a big difference. This is simply taking it too far, and it will take an eternity to prepare. In any case, the fattiness and cooking times are off. It's still delicious, and if you enjoy thick, fatty bacon, you'll probably enjoy it.
However, I just got a piece of garbage in the mail - It's almost entirely made up of fat, and it's also spoiled. It's not expired, but the meat has gone bad. color, the vacuum seal isn't as good as it used to be, and the packaging is baggy and full of air. Bacterial growth can be seen in this way. So depressing. br>br> br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I purchased it once more and received a large slab of fat. I've included that image with the others. But, hey, it wasn't spoiled, so there's that!.
We are not going to purchase anything else.
Bacon is the one who despises bacon the most. Having said that, the thick cut definitely helped me get through some difficult times in my life.
