I bought this so I could have higher ABV ginger beer

Fast working, neutral taste. This was another great yeast from Red Star I have used a few of their products before and had a great experience. The only way I add yeast to my wort is once it has cooled below 100 degrees, I don't look at the directions, I just do as I always do with yeast. Someone who says they have trouble activating yeast must not fully understand how yeast functions. The yeast started to work faster than any other yeast I've used before, which is really weird considering I put it in Since ginger and lemon are often hard on yeast, I expected to have to wait all night to see any activity instead, I started seeing results in less than 2 hours. Another good thing is that the taste of the ginger beer was not changed. It has been my favorite yeast for some time now, as I usually am with all Red Stars. Note
Edit This yeast was used in another brew and it was not only fast starting, but it also foamed just like crazy! Once the airlock had been blown, I was forced to hook up a blow off tube.
