In addition to giving 4 stars instead of 1, I would also like to give the seller the benefit of the doubt that this is the way it should The first time I bought a whole ham was this past weekend. To put it simply, once you remove the fat and meat that turns into jerky (hard and dry), you'll find you're left with about 3 pounds of the good stuff for The pain is intense! In my quest for meat, I cut and cut among the fat, only to find that there was more. You can see in the attached photo just how wide and how deep I've gone. I wasn't going to leave the leg out after starting with the other side which was less fatty, but so tough and grisly that I was ready to let it go. That being said, the experience had been enjoyable before trying to eat it. When I opened the package to find the customs stamps, my heart beat faster. After the leg itself was nicely wrapped, the materials used were of high quality. The presentation was excellent! It's nice to have the stand and knife, as well as the A great instructions manual comes with them as well. The work is done exactly as it should be. I believe, however, that economically this is a poor deal, unless I just had an especially bad day. The vendor is not to blame, but the deal is bad. When you finally get your hands on the meat, it is tasty, but I do not think it is.

I advise you not to Had a grease all over it, and no matter how you cut it I didn't see any meat, just fat, bone, no ham, must have been a bad leg

I cannot believe I'm able to attend it here at home in the United States! In fact, I received my jamon iberico from Jamonprive about 36 hours after placing the order, and I was very pleased with the shipping method, the packaging, and the presentation as well as the jamon itself. As it comes in an elegant black fabric bag, it makes for a very impressive gift. Since it comes impeccably wrapped, it can be given as a gift as well. A Spanish jamon connoisseur who is very picky, I can state with certainty that this is an outstanding jamon. When you bite into it, you can tell that it's an incredibly high quality "palette". Sliced this way, you'll get gorgeous layers of red flavor that are rare outside of Spain (with a little practice!) Jamon is cured beautifully to give it a soft texture and the perfect marbling to produce an intense flavor that only an "iberico" can create. I think that the wooden stand and carving knife in this set add a lot of value to the set, but if you plan on buying it on a regular basis you may want to upgrade those to ones that also add a little more aesthetic appeal. I'm very satisfied with my purchase all in all. You can definitely count on me to return!.

The surprise was a pleasant one, and it was tasty too! The food is delicious, and we have already eaten a lot of it. In preparation for the job, my husband watched all the videos on YouTube to understand how to do it. It came with a very nice and simple stand, which is nice to have. We will soon be looking to buy a second one, but will just need the leg this time. Overall, this was a great purchase since it was the first time I have purchased ham legs. The item was received promptly, was well packaged, and was presented in an excellent manner (a sealed plastic bag containing the product, which was also wrapped in a black fabric material, which made it impressive At 11, the ham was ready to be served. As for the taste, it is sure to be a good Iberico ham, well marbelled, and correctly cured, although the ham portions might be bit drier and more cured than others, but it is still highly recommended. This product is a great balance of price and In addition, I have the pleasure of having lived in Spain for a number of years and have had the opportunity to experience products from the main producing provinces, including Extremadura and Huelva (jabugo). There's no need to worry about disappointment.
