Questions & Answers

When they are shipped, is it okay if they freeze?

My pork chops have been in the fridge for a long time, but they have never been frozen. You might be able to get away with putting them in a sugar water solution when you get them.

Can I replace cane sugar with coconut ?

You can certainly do that. It is perfectly fine to use coconut sugar in place of cane sugar for water kefir grains. They just need a sugar source. I use maple syrup or light molasses in place of cane sugar, and my water kefir grains seem to thrive.

I want to know where I can ?

Using water without chlorine (boil it) is the best place to start. Combine 3 1/2 tablespoons of raw organic sugar with 1 cup of boiling water for a quart jar. All the water should be allowed to cool to room temperature. Adding 2 1/2 cups of cool water to a quart jar will make it taste better. After the water has reached room temperature, add 3 tbsp of baking soda The grains were chopped up into four tablespoons. It is vital that you supply the grains with minerals in your water. A slice of organic lemon and a pinch of baking soda add a nice balance. Add a few slivers of ginger and a quarter of a boiled eggshell to the water to add minerals. You can then bottling the kefir with fruit for another 24 hours to add fizz and flavor. Once you've boiled for 48 hours, I add 1 cup water to each jar. Make sure you burp it the next day to prevent an explosion when you ferment it the second time. You can strain the kefir off the fruit and just put it in the refrigerator!

In the case of these Water Kefir grains, what is the weight of a 1/2 cup? Would you add 1/4 cup of milk? What would you like to drink? The volume of 1/4 pound is how many cubic inches?

I'm not exactly sure, but I would have to guess that 1 cup would weigh around

We are better equipped to take care of them when we have better knowledge
5/5

It gives me great pleasure to award Florida Sun Kefir a 5 out of 5 I received the kefir grains in a couple days and these grains produced kefir almost immediately. In addition, I have a lot of credit to give to the instructions in the packaging and the link to the online documentation as I had a dehydrated version before, but eventually they died and I could not reproduce them. My new set is now able to provide my new set with what they need after reading the available documentation. Thanks to my new understanding of how to look after them, my kefir grains have multiplied at least four times compared to the original amount I purchased. I also notice that my previous set is slightly larger and plumper. In the past, I have made kefir batches for everyone, but I have no one to give them to, so I have thrown out the excess It has helped with my allergies that began out of nowhere two years ago and I'm embarrassed to throw them out. In fact, I drink water kefir pretty much every day now and I love the taste.

The health benefits of kombucha & the ease of making it
5/5

Since a long time ago, I have been wanting to try fermenting. The Kombucha kit I bought was also very helpful. Making Kefir is easy for beginners like us, especially since it is easier to digest. In addition to using it with Simply Apple juice, orange juice, tart cherry juice, and blackberries, I poured it over ice. The apple was our first choice, and it was amazing. The orange juice or blackberries did not go well with it, and I will try it with a cherry next time.
I thought I was doing it wrong because the first batch didn't fizz when I made it with filtered water. In the next batch I will use apple juice once again, but grape juice will be our new flavor. It seemed like there wouldn't be enough kefir in the gallon container, as well. In order to make this batch I bought more kefir, but still used the molasses from the first In a video, someone said that the first batch typically doesn't turn out well because the grains need time to open I am very pleased with the outcome of my second batch. It's no longer necessary to drink ginger ale. Drink this instead of soda for a healthier alternative. You won't have to worry about kids knowing what soda is if you start them out young. The fact that I didn't quit makes me glad I didn't. Because I think the scoby went bad, I think it would be wise for me to stop drinking kombucha for now. It did not leave the dark green on the scale which is bad even after it was treated with I cannot handle this at the moment because it is so delicate and complicated. So that I won't waste more money by buying scoby, I may research more on how to grow my own. Until I figure out what to do with yogurt, I am sticking.

The grains multiply fast, making them perfect for kefir
5/5

It was wonderful to work I was pleased to see they were in good shape when they arrived. the instructions and put them in sugar water, and now the kefir produces a great flavor and is multiplying rapidly. Those are some of the things I have shared. Since my sister was a child, she has been making Kefir. Once the grains multiplied, I shared some of the grains with her to compare with her own. The numbers of hers are very small and they do not multiply very often. These grains were first very impressive to her due to their size. With just the first fermentation of her batch, she couldn't believe the bubbles and carbonation. When I made it the first time, I had put some lemon and strawberry purée in for the second fermentation according to a recipe I had seen on Pinterest. As I made my way to the bathroom before bed, I was burping Volcanic ash made its way onto the ceiling during the last eruption! In the meantime, I have learned a couple things, and I do not have that problem any longer.
Well, let's see. For those who wish to get started, here are the steps An overview of it is given below. The first thing you should do when you get your grains is to- You should rinse them thoroughly with water at room temperature. Putting 1/4 cup grains in 1/4 cup sugar dissolved in some warm water will yield 1/4 cup sugar. For your 32 ounces, I add this to the cold water at room temperature. This very moment. They prefer bottled spring water to the batch of grains I received, and they like brown sugar mixed half and half with white sugar in the sugar mixture. Initially, you need to let this sit on the counter for 48 hours. That is the first fermentation. Your grains should be strained in a plastic mesh strainer, which should be finely weaved so that they don't fall out. A pop-top jar with an airtight lid is then filled with sugar mixture left over from the process. It has proven to be my favorite to add grapefruit juice to sugar water, and I let it sit on the counter with the lid closed for 12 hours. I burp after 12pm. I burp after 24 hours. Drink when cold after being refrigerated. You will reap the benefits of the probiotics in this product!.

Water Kefir Grains that are Strong and Healthy
5/5

You shouldn't miss out on these kefir grains! The water kefir is our first batch, which I bought on a Saturday. The water kefir is now in the fridge and we will enjoy it tonight. I would have to nurture the kefir grains for a few batches before we got them going, but they caught on quickly. Within a few hours of placing the kefir in sugar water, I noticed that it began bubbling. I am amazed! Despite the seller's best efforts, the kefir actually spilled on the floor from the package. Here are some pictures of me.

As much praise as I can give the packaging company for how well they packaged these, I am only able to award them an A++ for effort
5/5

I didn't expect them to take any longer than someone who had ordered stateside, so docking any stars would be unfair. The only reason I refused to purchase dehydrated grains is that I knew what I was getting myself It was necessary to reprocess my grains Despite the fact they had been packed badly in transit and that even the new box had liquid all over it, I was very pleased with my first experience with them and did not mind the mess My first batch was wonderful and so much better as my first kombucha brew! I have already made three batches so far. As sure as I was that it would take a few tries for the grains to get going, I bought these small grains and thought their strength was really weak, but they was so strong that they even multiplied a little on the first boil! As a result of my package busting, I had pieces of balloon in my first bottle and I have had black specs (some sink, some float) but I cannot determine whether this is of Someone who knows the answer might be able to help me! As a whole, this company has a lot to offer. I'd recommend them over dehydrated grains. Cheers to all those who like to brew!.

This is a great product
5/5

It is 2 days earlier than expected that the grains arrived. Five minutes and a half. It took me a few minutes before I had to leave for work, so I was not Nevertheless, they are a viable and profitable business. Having never used kefir grains before, I would say these are a quality product. Perhaps I can't make my water taste as good as the stuff I buy in the store, but you receive the same amount of bacteria. (The only other drawback is this In the fermentation process, there is a minimum requirement of 32 ounces of spring water every two days The COVID-era has given us a shortage of water for 3 days, and right now the source is hard to come by An outbreak of the 19th pandemic struck the United States. That water is essential to the survival of the grains.
