Sorry for the blunder, guys. br>- There was no discernible flavor (I can tell the difference between an overpowering artificial flavor and the more subtle and deep richness of real black licorice; The issue was not with that. There was only a WISP of flavor, to be generous. )
- Texture is a disgrace - an object made of plastic I was surprised by how dry and rubbery it was.
- Density wasn't all bad, but for me, that was the end of any positive aspects. br>br>Needless to say, I bit the bullet (and no, I'm not talking about this licorice) and ordered my FINNSKA 8. Today's delivery of an 8 pound bag was immediately dipped in and. aaaaaaaah, black licorice HEAVEN! br>br>(I'm not pandering, but THANK THE HEAVEN FOR AMAZON! LOL).

I was so excited to try some delicious licorice that I opened it right away. I ate one piece, was disappointed, and then ate another to confirm the flavor and texture were off. Only 2 pieces of the bag were eaten approximately 4 minutes after it was delivered, and it went straight into the trash. It's all about the money. Gelatinous texture with a cheap artificial flavor. Ewe.

It's made with corn syrup. br>It has a strong licorice flavor to it. I believe the strength is almost medicinal, which is why some people are turned off by it. br>br>I enjoy licorice and occasionally get a craving for it, so I decided to try the product with the highest rating on Amazon. This isn't exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for a more traditional, less gummy style, similar to what I remember from my childhood in England. br>These are a little more synthetic in flavor and texture, but they're still tasty. I must say, by the end of the bag, I was thoroughly enjoying myself. br>I think it's worth a shot.

The flavor isn't just strong licorice; it's also harsh and has a lot of acidity. While the flavor and texture may appeal to some people who are down on their luck, it is not for everyone. I didn't expect it to be like this. The quality of Trade Joe's product is far superior.

I was so excited to try the licorice because I hadn't had any in a long time and the reviews for this product were fantastic. However, after just one bite, I was shocked. It was almost brittle, with an "off" flavor. Of course, this is just my opinion, but I was hoping for some bite. In my mouth, however, it disintegrated. There is absolutely no chewing. So now I'm sitting on a mountain of licorice that I'm not going to eat. I despise throwing away "food," but I'm at a loss for what to do with it. There were no refunds allowed, according to what I read. Such a letdown. Perhaps it was a vintage item?.

I'm not sure how they're going to sell it for this price, and I'm hoping it doesn't skyrocket like everything else these days. I usually order the black, but I'm going to branch out and try some other flavors because I'm confident they'll be just as good as the black. Take my word for it: if you enjoy liquoricsh as much as I do, you will not be disappointed if you order this.

It was a disaster. It has a licorice-like flavor with a soapy aftertaste. I threw out the first piece before moving on to the next. The same thing happened: the rest went straight to the trash can.

I've tried a variety of Australian black licorice brands, but my favorite was discontinued at our local supermarket, so I bought this based on the positive reviews. I found the product to be far too sweet, and while it claims to be chewy, it literally disintegrated into many small pieces in my mouth when I bit down on a piece. This was not a wise purchase in my opinion.
