I'm sorry, but I don't have any more boxes to check to see if real licorice is an ingredient because we ate them all!

I've been eating black licorice nibs since I was a kid and love them. However, they are no longer available for purchase in stores. The FDA warned that too much natural licorice root, which is used to flavor the black licorice nibs, could deplete potassium levels and cause heart problems, so they were taken off the shelves. By the way, when I was a kid, I didn't even wear a bicycle helmet when I rode my bike!.
When I was a kid in the 1940s and 1950s, my favorite licorice was the original Nibs in the black and yellow packages. These Nibs are a decent knockoff, but not quite as good as the real thing. These are far superior to the commercially available licorice twists. I'm not sure why the quality has deteriorated over time, but the cost has risen dramatically.
Licorice candy is extremely difficult to come by in stores - Certainly in this area. Only a few items from Australia are included. But, as far as I can tell, this product is very similar to the original. The only drawback is that it's difficult to resist devouring the entire bag!.
I hoped to train the goats to view them as treats, and then use them to lead them out of the orchard once they were free. They weren't fond of them, to put it mildly. I, on the other hand, enjoy licorice and had no trouble eating them. They had a soft, fresh feel to them. The packages were in excellent condition when they arrived.
One of my all-time favorite licorice flavors - In the black-market, it's difficult to come by. It was something I used to get at Target- (It appears that no one else has it), and they no longer have it. (only the red) I'm glad I came across it here!.
Despite the fact that I haven't been able to find these in our area's grocery stores, I find them to be a satisfying, low-cost snack. calorie-dense delight I placed an order for three packs at the same time. They were delicious and fresh. The price, on the other hand, is significantly higher than what I was able to pay for them when they were available in my area. I will most likely purchase them again, but not on a regular basis.
br>I liked the old package with the camel and palm tree (before nibs parent was bought out decades ago).
