What is it about grocery shopping that I enjoy? They don't ask for customer feedback on the products they sell. What's the one thing about grocery shopping that I don't enjoy? I can't get enough of my favorite licorice without leaving the house and mixing with the hoy paloy. This licorice is absolutely delicious. It happens all the time. It's authentic, not overdone like those sugary whippy things that have started to taste like plastic. And! AND! I'm as consistent as a clock. So, if you're looking for a tasty treat that also has a mild laxative effect, these are the ones to go for. The night before my college English Literature class, I ate a bag of a similar product (back when licorice was actually real). I wished I'd taken a seat nearer the door. Our class ended early on a low note, leading to a satisfying symphonic finale in the bowels of Main Hall, in what has become known as the Great Methane Delivery System Debacle of 1967.

For decades, I've been purchasing this licorice at random. I bought this box of 36 in January 2019 because it was reasonably priced (19). 22). Unfortunately, it was devoured far too quickly; we all enjoy it, and knowing it's sitting in the cupboard — well, you know. br>Now, in April 2019 (3 months later), I return for more, and the price has risen by more than $10 for the same item! No, thank you; it's adequate, but not exceptional. I'll come back for more if/when the price decreases.
For a few things, an open bag is a single serving, and one of my favorite treats is black licorice, which usually has 5 to 7 servings, making it difficult for me to limit myself to a single serving. These bars are exactly what I've been looking for to solve my problem. A single bar contains 100 calories, making portion control much easier while still allowing me to enjoy one of my favorite treats. It's a simple dish, but it's a delicious one. There's no way to go wrong with this option.
This is the first time I've ordered something like this, and I'm disappointed. The idea of using only four natural ingredients appeals to me. There are numerous chemical "enhancers" in many other brands. The issue here is the proportion of those four ingredients. While mild and tasty, the molasses overpowers the licorice and anise to the point where it tastes like eating cookie dough with a hint of licorice; yes, it's doughy, but unlike any other licorice candy I've ever tried. I'm sorry I bought so much without trying it first. It was a good lesson.
I've previously purchased it from Amazon and have always been completely satisfied with both the product and Amazon's service. The anise chewy flavor of this licorice is reminiscent of the old days. I was ecstatic to discover a brand that tasted even better than I remembered from my youth as a senior citizen. Most other brands have a synthetic flavor to them, in my opinion. This is a true delight for the senses, and I wholeheartedly endorse this product and seller.
But my friend is from Finland, and he gave me one of these as a gift, so I ate it out of politeness and then went out and bought a case. br>br>Mixed with molasses and a light licorice flavor. You should take your time eating these. They're great for a treat that doesn't leave you feeling like you've just consumed a candy bar. My husband initially thought I was insane, but he has since become addicted as well.
The best black licorice I've ever had. I've always loved black licorice, and my favorites are Hershey's black Twizzlers. They're excellent, but this surpasses them. I've heard that the compound glycyrrhizin, which is found in licorice extract, can be harmful if consumed in large amounts.
