Questions & Answers

What kind of HD signal is received by this radio Is there a broadcast in the morning? FM is present on a good number of radios I have been searching for HD hd but cannot seem to find many that offer HD hd of the AM band?

A HD-capable AM receiver is included in this device. Furthermore, I can confirm that HD broadcasts only from AM can be decoded. WMGG AM Tampa, which went all digital in January, can be heard. While this is true, many of the larger AM stations have stopped broadcasting digital signals when they previously had HD programming.

How well does this radio perform on regular AM station interference fade-ins and fade-outs that occur on distant stations? It takes about 80 miles to get to the stations. ?

From AM and from L, I've tried them both. My GPS was able to find San Diego Stations (125 miles away) fairly I keep it in my car, so I can listen to it while driving. Thank you. Mr. G Joe

Does a case appear in the list?

You do not get a case with it. It will work with the case that the C Crane skywave comes with. It can be ordered for $10 on the manufacturer's website if you don't already have one.

What is the volume of this radio? Can it fill the entire bedroom with sound?

It sounds like a small radio, but it's really the sound of a Music is not going to sound great. Listening to news shows and talk shows is a big part of its purpose.

This is a Sangean HDR It is excellent to listen to AM/FM/HD radio
5/5

My collection of radios is quite large, even though I am not a radio collector. Music of the classical genre is what I prefer to listen to. A Sangean HDR-403 was purchased along with three (3) other models In total, I have 16 models (to place in various rooms of my house), all of which provide excellent sound, although they fall short of HD reception, at least in my case. restrictions in HD transmission power imposed by the FCC. Despite its superior sensitivity to HDR- based cameras, the 14 does not offer any improvements in HD When I was 16, I decided to give it a shot. This is an HD camera that really does perform better! I live in an area that transmits classical music via two (2) radio stations. There are only two parts to it, at least with analog signals Half consists of It has a frequency of 1MHz). * However, this station sends HD signals all day and it switches them off Similarly, when classical music is played on the analog channel (and on the HD1 channel), the HD2 subchannel also plays classical music There are jazz music channels on the Internet. As the HD2 channel plays classical music when HD1 is switched to jazz (along with the analog channel), the main analog channel plays jazz as well. This station is unable to transmit two signals all at the same time (which would probably require an additional frequency). Switching is, of course, not very onerous. The station, in addition to a few additional ones, is located in a relatively quiet area. An example of a known station is The WPEN - I am contacting HD2 Burlington about this venture There is something to be said about Philadelphia being a "piggy-backed city. " The backing is added to a sports-themed t-shirt The station plays talk shows A 5MHz frequency). Sports are broadcast on HD1 and classical music is broadcast on HD2 (and both offer high-quality sound). There are a few issues I'm experiencing with the HDR-compatible antenna near my home The reception on 16 is sporadic at best. Sometimes the radio station may play for hours with no hiccups but other times, well, forget it. Hoping that the HDR-funded projects will succeed It is better to receive this station with a 14-inch, so I bought (On batteries) Since the day I received it (on March 2, 2019), I've been using it continuously. am unable to comment on the radio's battery life. The radio has a low-power mode It has a battery indicator light, but it has not yet been turned on. )

It's reception sensitivity is much better than any of the three HDR-equipped models The one I own is a 16S. It is a High Dynamic Range image WPEN is picked up by 14 Where HDR-enhanced video is needed in my house, HD2 will be used HD signals will not be picked up by the 16 The reception of the app is consistent throughout the day. The WPEN station I want to listen to With this radio, I can listen to HD2 whenever I want. In terms of setting the radio, it is easy and there are quite a few options, all of which are explained in the detailed owner's manual (though you don't actually need it while using the radio Common sense is all you need to make sure that all the options within the menu are set up correctly). The HDR-X35 is a great product and I am very satisfied with it It appears that the ointment isn't quite as clear as it might seem to the layperson. -
And that's how the sound quality is. part of The number 14 is a small pocket-sized number. If you purchase this size radio, you will not be able to enjoy outstanding sound quality This doesn't happen to you. In that regard, what I had hoped was to have a positive outcome. It would be a great experience to listen to the sound through headphones. We had the same result here as well. It is a very good radio and I'm glad to have it. Now I'm not going to damn it lightly. This is an excellent radio and I'm glad to have it. My only wish for the sound quality, at least via headphones, would be that it would at least match that achieved via My dream is to test it with a Bluetooth transmitter and then hook it up to my stereo. I have no high hopes, but I'll try it one of these days Since the same Bluetooth transmitter will be connected to the same headphone output, if sound quality through headphones is only "okay," what may I expect in terms of sound quality through a stereo system? As you will notice (Sangean, please take note), we need a combination of HDR-based security and artificial intelligence. Taking advantage of the HDR-compatible 16's sound quality (or better) This sensitivity (or even better) is equivalent to 14. I would definitely buy one (or more) of these radios if they were available in the future. In addition, I would like to recommend that external antenna inputs be added so that the radio can be connected to a better antenna. There is no exact information about the future of HD (In radio terms, this stands for hybrid digital ceased transmitting HD transmissions (our only news station KYW 1060 kHz among them Although they transmit on an FM HD subchannel, the audio is delayed by quite a few seconds on that channel, a problem not associated with AM HD transmissions). It is really too bad to lose that game. As good as analog FM (better, since no hiss is heard), AM HD is about equally good. The FM stations that do transmit HD in the Philadelphia area do have one or more HD subchannels, however they all transmit the same sort of "garbage radio" as their main channels. What percentage of people are going to buy an HD radio to listen to more of the same garbage? Having said that, I am done complaining. This is a Sangean HDR I think that the 14 is a great radio, and, when looking at it solely from a pocket-sized perspective, Its size makes it stand out from other radios of the same size In comparison to any other pocket, this pocket stands out the most This is the size of the The fidelity of its analog AM and FM sections is quite good (its FM section can be set to receive only in mono which improves analog FM sensitivity. Stereo audio remains in HD) and its sound is no different from that of any comparable radio. Therefore, if you are interested in finding a high quality apartment, please contact This is a quality HD radio that I would highly recommend. My sincere thanks and appreciation go out to the reader for reading all of this and thoughtfully **Lawrence H. **End of story. Buying in bulk.

The antenna is a small one
5/5

It has good reception in analog and The device is easy to use. The room is small, but the reception is good. The radio I have now has been in my possession for less than a day and might be the last one I have A radio sized for AM/FM is the only one I need. It is impressive that the size of the speaker allows you to hear the difference in clarity between analog and HD sound. Headphones have not yet been tried by me. My old Sangean HDR could only do analog broadcasted in HD, but my Sangean HDR can manage analog broadcasts (AM and FM) in HD. The tabletop unit has 1 The following steps can be taken to strengthen analogs There is no treble on AM signals, and the bandwidth seems to automatically widen A study of sensitivity and proximity A very high level of channel selectivity exists. The analog AM sensitivity is one of the best I've ever experienced on a radio of this size. My Sony, Sangean, and Roberts radios all receive analog FM just as well as this one. There are no buttons or menus to learn I figured out how to use all of the features as well as the configuration of country, band, and step before I even read the manual - just by holding down the button, some how. Whenever you switch between channels without artificial "chuffing," I appreciate that Sangean did not program in any artificial noise. We do not yet know how long battery life will last There has been playback of the song at least 10 hours on AM-FM TV and radio broadcasts in high definition and FM High-definition stations are available. This device is powered by a 5v AC adapter. Due to the fact that the thing is technically run by a computer, I expect it to drain batteries faster than a purely analog radio.

It has a good FM and a decent My first Sangean HDR was in 2001, and I have owned two since the mid-2000s Various portables for 14 people
4/5

On the first attempt, I accidentally blew an entire circuit board by using the wrong adapter. When connecting your radio, be careful not to short it out. This is my second HDR picture - There has been an improvement in performance on FM and AM for 14. The pros are Radio station with a sensitive frequency. There is a marked difference in the reception of HD signals between this and my HDR-equipped radio There isn't quite as much discrimination on FM as with the 16, but the sensitivity on standard FM and FM HD is quite a bit better than the 16. There are no signal issues on this radio, even for weak FM stations. It is still possible to hear fringe stations that are in mono.
Despite its small size and a lock switch, this radio is convenient to take with you while traveling. My battery life has been good so far. Cons There is a lot of noise in AM. There is a lot of radio noise that masks the weak signals that other radios can detect. Good AM radios receive WLW AM 700 in the daytime at my location. The HDR-600 gets it in the evenings. It is likely that the radio generates excessive noise that is preventing 14 from hearing. We could do with a bit of improvement in FM selectivity. The 101 station is a local one. It is impossible for me to hear any weak stations I am writing a A signal as weak as that received by 16 can be picked up.
As a conclusion My assessment of this radio is that it is a good buy because of the price, size, and very good performance on FM and FM HD, as well as adequate AM reception. In my opinion, this radio would easily have gotten five stars if the AM station were less noisy. A reminder that the 7th of June is here. During my travels, this portable device was with me. This radio has pretty good FM sensitivity. I found it to be more sensitive than my C Crane Skywave stereo. It is possible to hear a more weakly image of a strong FM station in a market where signals are strong. The signal frequency is 4 MHZ higher than the analog During my stay in St. Louis, I contracted weak 93 from my location. An incoming signal of 7 appears My rating of this radio is not affected by this drawback since it is sensitive enough. My favorite feature is being able to listen to it.
