Reviews aren't really one of my favorite things to do. I have included a photo of my google plug-in install. This is to make people aware of the fact that a google plug-in is utilized. I see that this is a very small radio. The guide who told me that I couldn't use a Google plug was right. Since this has the old style power volume control, they are wrong. In regards to the radio being able to be turned on and off remotely, it will definitely be a great security device. If you're looking for good sound quality, I wouldn't recommend choosing this radio, it does not offer good sound quality. Despite its small size and mono sound, the radio speaker is only able to transmit mono signals. Although I find the short wave feature of the signal to be useless, overall I think it is a good signal. My only wish was to be able to tune in the weather radio, but I am not sure how exactly to do that What are the chances of someone finding out? There is something wrong with all the high ratings for this radio, because I use to own some very awesome Sears brand boom boxes -- they had TV channels-- and I don't agree with their high ratings. The stereo sound is excellent as well as the weather radio. There needs to be an upgrade on this model now that digital sound is out. A 3. 5 out of 5 rating is fair for this radio. I was blown away by this radio. You're really right! During the day, I can receive channels as far as 200 miles away. During the night, radio stations are unavailable to me on any of Do you know anything about short waves? It will be interesting to see what happens tonight, but I'm confident that I won't be disappointed. This tiny radio is not to be underestimated, despite my poor spelling. The reviews of this set, both negative and positive, I read and listened to for months before buying. Then at 48 years old. Though the price is a bit pricy, I believe this will be worth it in the long run. There are odd numbers in it. The cord and batteries are included, but not the D batteries. One of the things that drew me in was that. SW radios are most often rechargeable and THAT is great, but if you don't have power and the battery runs out, you're down and out. By doing this, you'll be able to replace your battery if necessary. You can also enjoy it like I do by simply plugging it in. Anybody who is considering buying this radio will be pleased with its performance. The radio has SB card and MP3 features that I'll never use, but they are nice to have. This is my second retekess brand radio and it matches the first. Excellent quality at a good price. If you're on the fence, I recommend buying it. The device is heavily reliant on analog dials and controls, so I bought it for my blind son. I've noticed that my son has mastered the skill of tuning and controlling volume quickly and has become a favorite activity for him. The radio is a great purchase and would definitely recommend it.
