It's ok. In 1968, I was 17 years old, but I'm not on the beach. I just really found myself missing those " transistor radio " days of my youth when listening to this radio! I purchased it for that very reason! I'm listening to AM radio in the kitchen while holding the phone. The music is playing and I am I am aware that my kids (adults) think I am crazy listening to "tin can kind of music" however, why do you not just use your iPhone instead? “You're so weird, Mom!” You've got so many quirks! Yet there is something about this sound, with the static and working the small antenna, which reminds me of my youth. I don't think this sound is perfect, but I do love it! I'm having a great time!.
In addition, the device operates exclusively on batteries. This particular station pulled in only a few.
A piece of junk from China. Although I should have known better, I was taken with the appearance of the item. Because the batteries wouldn't stay in place, the radio would not work every time I picked it up. I had to open the back to replace them Make sure the batteries are adjusted.
There is a cracked dial on the phone I will just have to live with it since it is too costly to return. I've been making fun of myself around here about preparing for the zombie invasion. Food canned, meds and supplies stocked however, I am concerned about an 'accident' when the electricity is turned on. I wanted to have a radio that could be used analogously Access to electrical power is not required Power can be either from a battery or from the sun. This is cute and works just fine In fact, the small size allows me to carry it around my yard when I'm gardening and I can listen to my talk shows during the daytime.
In the first case, there was no charge life of about 10 hours. In the second case, the battery life was much shorter than what I expected. It sounds like a whistling sound in the background, and the tuning dial is all out of whack. A third one will not be purchased.
Our son loves vintage items and all things Coke for his 13th birthday, so we gave him this to brighten his day. You wouldn't believe it, but it broke within a There was no hauling around of the toy or rough treatment of it by my son. In his room, he always listened to it whenever he sat in a special spot on his shelf. The machine wouldn't turn on one day and so he turned it off and put it away. Our batteries were changed and we did everything in our power to make it work. The short looked like a wire after it was opened up. There's a reason why this is so cheap. If you get something that lasts, even if it is just a little bit more expensive, you will end up saving yourself, or someone else, the disappointment of poor quality.
A smaller kitchen and the desire to listen to music without having to turn up the stereo in the living room. Coca cola collector here, it's super cute and fits in perfectly. It can be cranked up, but of course, since it is only a radio, I believe it makes great noise in small areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, etc. I love my radio and think it is a great purchase.
