There aren't any adhesive strips for reinstalling the battery securely, which I think is the biggest annoyance with the device. I was able to recognize the same markings on it as the original battery, so it was an obvious replacement But there were a few items that had Sharpies on them. I would guess that these batteries were manufactured by the OEM but may have failed some part of the quality inspections and were marked to be sold as "seconds". Typical of other install kits, the installation tools provided were also typical. It is without a doubt that I had plenty of tools, and I could have used adhesive strips to help. It is only time that will tell whether the performance will live up to expectations. Therefore, the swollen battery has been replaced by the new, much more efficient battery.
