Due to its age, this unit is approaching 10 years old at this point, so it probably ought to have been replaced ages ago. In any case, I looked at original Bose batteries, and they were three times as expensive as OEM batteries. The reviews here suggested that others had found success with this battery, so I decided to take the plunge and As of now, I have had no issue with the battery and have not experienced any of the issues I encountered with my original one.
