GSP0931134 Battery Replacement for JBL Xtreme JBL GSP0931134 (5000mAh Li-Polymer)

It is near impossible to replace a battery with anything else. With the JBL Extreme, you have to disassemble and reassembly it several times, but if your battery only lasts two hours, you should replace it to get over 16 hours of use. There is only one drawback the stock battery has foam around it to dampen vibration and noise, but I simulated foam with tesa tape.

The satisfaction is total. A very simple installation process is involved. You need 10 screws and 10 minutes to complete the task. Using two Phillips head tools and a flat prying tool (a flat screwdriver or guitar pick works), you can completely recharge your battery. The battery performs great and holds a charge for a long time.

I am very pleased with how my speaker is sounding after it was replaced. It is, however, only good for 300 charge cycles, according to the company that sells it. The benefit of this is that you don't have to listen to the radio every day, like me. My guess is that if I use it for a year I'll get a good deal on it.

It's pretty straight forward to replace this. Within about 30 minutes, you can replace the battery with nothing more than a Phillips screwdriver. Since this fixed the issue where the Extreme wouldn't fully charge and keep shutting down randomly, the problem is resolved!.
