If you order the wrong one, the polarity on the pinout will be switched over, resulting in permanent damage to the Batteries for Charge 2+ models made in 2015 and older are not compatible with this battery. A new battery was inserted without any problems, and it was the same pinout as the original battery that was inside the speaker that was As of now, everything is working as it should.

The polarity of the signal is incorrect

However, though it appeared to be a useful battery (just by packaging and looks), this did not work with JBL Charge 2, as the polarity was reverse. Luckily, I found a video that demonstrated how to check polarity.

I looked for a replacement speaker when the battery in my JBL Charge2 Plus speaker started to fail. The similar speakers just don't have the bass sound of my old JBL, as I've heard on a few similar models. Luckily, I found this replacement battery, which I found super easy to install and has allowed me to listen to my JBL for a long time on a single charge.

A careful eye needs to be kept on the polarity

It is important to be careful with JBL charge 2+ as the polarity is reversed. You need to switch the black cables with the red ones, and that's all there is to it.
