I used to pay $19 for a month's worth of service. from $0 to $24 The cost of binding a book is $0. 00. My costs have been cut in half as a result of bringing all of the processes in-house. The binder served its purpose admirably. My only complaint is that the roller that winds the coil onto the book could be a little stronger. If you put too much pressure on the bigger books, they tend to stall. br>The machine is capable of completing all of the following tasks: Punches holes in the coil, winds it, and crimps the ends with ease.
Just received brand new from Rhino Tuff Company, packed solidly in Styrofoam within second box with no shipping issues. I believe the manual should specify how many turns the adjustment wheel for the tension coil clipper mechanism should be turned. As a result, I calculated that it is 9-minutes (starting from the far right or far left). I turned it 1/4 turn and set it to 4- I used a white dot on the cutter adjustment wheel to mark how many turns to turn to get the tension of the cutter mechanism to about 1/2, which I had to figure out because the manual didn't say how many turns for coil size on the cutter adjustment wheel, etc. I purchased a steel table cart with wheels to support this 75-pound machine, and the manufacturer's tech support is extremely busy, so you'll have to call and ask for an operator to get someone to speak with if you have any questions about the machine.
