I have tested this finder and it Twelve months have passed since I used it When the beeper beeped, I was able to see fish through my ice fishing hole, which was located in 15 ft of water. I was alerted to fish approaching consistently through the app. It is not bad that batteries have a long life. Having used it for two long days, it appears that a little more than half of my batteries have been consumed.

There really are only two things that I see as negatives. Due to a lack of water temperature readings and the presence of dense weeds with fish, there is sometimes a mix up of dense weeds and fish. Although those issues are minor, they are worth mentioning.

It is a great little device that does what it should do. The best value for the money is this device. I've had more expensive fish finders and it can't be beat. My 14-foot fishing boat was mounted with it. The majority of its use is for determining depth when fishing in rocky lakes. With my boat and motor, I have to avoid them while fishing. Although I have not been able to verify it showing me fish yet, perhaps that will change.

I would not trust it for fishing, though the depth radar is incredibly As I paddled in my kayak, the Puget Sound was in the distance. We took a look at this radar once and it read about 80 feet deep exactly in line with the boat's depth when we approached it. There's no denying the fact that this is not as good as a legit more expensive option, but when considering the costs of most fishing gear, I think it provides solid value and is definitely worth a fisherman's collection.
