There is no waterproof option for the handheld of the fish finder.
I really like how easy it is to use this portable fish finder. In the package you will find the user manual that can guide you through the operation. Press the power button to turn the unit on, connect the wired sonar sensor to the fish finder monitor, then install the four AAA batteries. In that case, he would place the sonar in the water, then the fish finder would make the necessary calculations. Please feel free to contact our customer service team via Amazon message if you have any questions about using this fish finder. Please accept my sincere thanks for your help.
25 feet is the length of the cord. As far as the cord is concerned, it does not need anymore extension. The distance between transducer and float should be at least 7 inches when cast

You don't have to pay a lot of money for a large, expensive fish finder to use this little guy. I actually think this is better because with the more expensive models you often have to identify what the fish or noise is on the screen. During my test off the dock, I found it to be impressively accurate, but during my test on the boat it proved to be even better. This unit's fish depth indicator is a lifesaver and the sensitivity controls allow you to keep it quiet in case of background noise. The backlight feature allows you to see in low light and the fish alarm is really unexpected on such a small piece of equipment. It is the type of feature I have only ever seen on a larger, more expensive model from The fish finder I have is a new product you will love once you become accustomed to operating it. You will get a handle on its functions and features as well. Excellent buy and overall awesome fish finder for small boats. It is portable, light weight, easy to use, and a great buy. An A+++ rating.
With its simple design and good features, this depth/fish finder is an excellent value for money. The transducer was mounted to the bottom of the trolling motor with (2) 3-inch hose clamps and its wire was secured (4) AAA alkaline batteries are required to operate the device. My device does not work with rechargeable batteries because they do not supply enough voltage for it to work. I have been running the unit with alkaline batteries for about nine hours so far without any signs of The screen shows the depth in the right upper corner and gives an approximate location of the fish. The fishing trip lasted 3 days and we did not lose a single As a whole, this is a great unit for $40 and one that is useful when In addition to its abilities to be used on a dock, a paddle board or in a kayak, the foam buoy is also easy to use. The simplicity and value of this product make it a winner in my book. I would definitely recommend it.
The fish finder I bought is more expensive, but I need to use a 12 volt battery to power it. There is too much work for a kayak at this time. Unlike most other transponders, with this one you don't even have to put the transponder in water. It takes four AAA batteries, is very light, and it is very easy to use. Using a transponder in the kayak, I got the same results in the water as when I was on the kayak. all, I am very excited to have an assistant that is so good at fishing.
It is accurate in depth, but only that. I tried in the lake and there were plenty of fish in it, but I didn't catch anything. It said that there were a lot of fish in the pool as well.
I have been fishing for 50 years and consider this product one of the best purchases in my career. The battery life is long, and it is easy to use on a small boat, and it is as accurate as the chart on my $1,500 It is the best portable I've ever used, and you will love it.
It works just fine, but the mount is very flimsy and broke after the first use. Whenever I use floats, I use a single one. I find this approach to be useful. We don't like the fact that the depth is measured in meters.
I had no idea what to expect, but I am impressed with it. There are fish on it and they are shown The book was a huge success with my husband. I didn't encounter any problems using it and he said it was easy to work with.
There's no better way to find fish than with a handheld fish finder. There may be issues with it reading in metric, but this isn't that severe. My experience has only been in shallow water (3-5" 5ft), and since I could see the fish in the water, the sonar picked up on them. The new one looks great! I'm eager to get started!.
