I agree, that is a nice one of mine as well
One of my friends tried, but did not succeed. As a result, ratings were erratic, and fish appeared when they did not exist. With it comes a high quality, small, and very sensitive transducer. And the wire it comes with is plenty long - I have a 24 foot Wellcraft and have enough extra wire to roll up next to each head of it. As I do not like drilling into my holes, I attached it with construction gorilla adhesive and it works well.
If you do that, you'll get a better grade.
Wires on the board are designed so you can attach a connector to go straight to your batteries or you can use another type of connector alternatively. However, it doesn't come with a USB connector, so I assume you can wire one in.

I had to call Amazon to confirm that I was receiving what I ordered. There was a different model of housing/faceplate on this product. It had to be returned to Humminbird. Now I am waiting weeks for the return shipment in the hope that my problem will be resolved. I am very disappointed. My head is hurting a lot.
Getting the unit I wanted was not a problem since I knew what I wanted when I bought it. Humminbird products are great, and this is true for this unit as well. They didn't read the description of the PN of those who gave it bad reviews because it does not have this or doesn't have that. Take the time to research the differences in the units and come to a decision based on those.
GPS was described in the add as a feature of the unit. I did not receive a GPS unit when I received the unit. The description is very poor. It appears the supplier will not back up his ad. Will never do business with him again.
My pontoon boat is 21 feet long. Here's how I installed it For the livewell on the back of the pontoon, I attached a water sensor to the pump mount for the pump. I was able to get the cable to the top of the captain's helm with no extra help. In order for it to work, it had to be run at an angle. Having all the other wires in the way prevented me from running it. I was able to install the helix 5 DI G2, and anyone should be able to figure it out if they look at the manual. As a weekend fisherman, I don't care for all the hoopla. I just want to spend time with my family.
Due to a problem with the first scanner, I had to order two in a row because the first would not even turn on, and the second would turn on and then shut down immediately. I did not receive my money back for several weeks. The Hummingbird Max 4 is what I'll stick with.
I can easily use it with my Minn Kota. I am extremely pleased with this product.
I am sure the more expensive versions are better, this is still a nice depth finder. You should spend an extra $100 or $200 for the model with the side imaging and GPS.
I like it! It's great to see the image from below!.
