Questions & Answers

Do you know if this device stays on all the time when it is plugged in? Are there any time-outs when it is not being used?

I leave it on all the time. Consequently, I have mine plugged into a switched outlet, which becomes active only when my AV receiver is active.

Can a battery be used for how many hours?

No batteries are required to operate the HA100 An adapter must be plugged into a power source in order to use this product. TP- *br> With regards, *br> You can find link support here

What is the easiest way for me to rename the device? My devices constantly send them to the wrong receiver because they are on the same floor but people keep sending them to the wrong receiver?

In most cases, you can rename Bluetooth devices from the Bluetooth Devices menu of your phone. Make sure you shut off both BT devices before you rename them, then turn only the one you want on. Changing the name of an Android application on my Samsung S7 Edge is completed. On the left hand side, there's a gear icon for setting There is a link named "Available Devices" in the There will be a box that says "Rename Device" in that setting menu. Please accept my sincere thanks.

What is the integration with Amazon Dot like?

Dot has only one issue at the moment, but not every user will be affected. Whenever you play music in a Music Group (multiple Echo devices in the home for whole house audio), all the Dots and Echoes inside the group are paired by Bluetooth, so the sound will only come out of the linked Dot or Echo. It then stops playing sound from the Dot and the speaker you are linked to is disconnected. It works fine when you play only one Dot or Echo through this device. *br>This is more of an Amazon flaw and less a TP-Link issue. This link does not work. Using 3 to pair a Dot with a speaker is the only way to fix this. You can connect the AUX cables directly to the 5 mm minijacks. Nevertheless, bear in mind that, when you stop using the speaker, you cannot hear the Dot until you unplug the minijack cable. The situation is different when you're using a Bluetooth device like this one. In the event the speaker in which the Dot is connected goes into sleep mode and turns off, the Dot stays in ITS mode. Still allowing it to be used completely.

This Bluetooth speaker has a clear sound quality, does not generate alternator hum, and pairs automatically with my android phone
5/5

I commute a long distance and my car is not naturally equipped with Bluetooth. My MPOW unit broke the other day when I was removing it from the auxiliary port on my car. In order to ensure I didn't go without a bluetooth, I started looking for new ones on Amazon. In terms of my old MPOW unit, it was a good unit, but it had two issues I disliked The first one. Power had to be turned on manually by holding down the power button for a few seconds*2. * A feedback buzz was heard when the charging and playing audio were done simultaneously. * I hated using it when I got back into the car on the first try, and then having to pair it on my phone almost every time. But once it was on, it worked great. It would not be charging unless it was. As I was driving, I would hear a subtle (but audible) feedback noise in my car as I accelerated. In response to my increased speed, the noise also increased.

Fast-forward to today, when I received this unit in the mail. I couldn't get it to work at first. The device was plugged into a charging port and the aux port on my computer. I had no problem connecting on my phone, but it went off when my car was turned on. Then I read what "NFC" was, and I decided that the technology was not for me. After restarting my phone, everything worked fine again. The car connected this time when I turned it on again. In that case, I decided to drive around for a while. While driving, there was no feedback, and I found that to be a huge plus. It was also great to hear from the sound system. In seconds, the unit turned off as soon as I shut my car off. As soon as I turned the car back on, two wonders occurred. I took note of how the bluetooth device had automatically turned on as it had been doing so. Furthermore, I was able to connect my phone to it automatically. My phone does not have to be touched manually to pair the device. I do not have to tap the Bluetooth icon to pair it. Therefore, I identify several reasons why I find this a great device The first one. As of yet, I am satisfied with the sound quality* 2. The device switches on / off on its own*2. I have an automatic pairing and connection between my phone and the device
4. While driving, there is no humming noise or feedback, so it's safe to leave the device plugged in and not have to think about it.

Adware, a power up problem, and a possible solution
3/5

I find it to work well and sound fantastic the majority of the time. provided power to the sound system by connecting it to a USB wall adapter when the sound system was turned on. Powering it up and using it a few times a week is normal. It would sometimes fail to boot the HA100 every few weeks. The USB cable was cleaned with contact cleaner, several USB power supplies were tried, and different USB ports were tried as well. When any of these methods are tried the problem will generally begin to clear up, but it will return The same thing has been reported by other reviewers. When the HA100 does not power up automatically when you plug in the USB cable or power supply, you will need to unplug and reattach it to the power supply or USB cable to force a power up when it doesn't work. Since I've switched to leaving it on all the time rather than putting it on with the stereo, I leave it on all the time. As of now, that appears to be working well.

It has great performance and features at a reasonable price
5/5

It has become my favorite Bluetooth To convert old radios into BT speakers, as well as integrate BT speakers into older audio systems, I used these modules. There are no beeps or voice notifications when you connect or disconnect it, and the phone doesn't try to reconnect when you tell it to disconnect itself. Connecting from all of my devices is easy. The sound quality and voltage output level are excellent. Due to the fact that I do not use the NFC function, I did not test Rather than use a DC supply barrel type plug for power, this device makes use of a USB port. The reason I like this is because it gives you more options, such as putting it in a car without a To power it, you can plug it into the cigarette lighter USB port. Power is supplied to this device via its power supply rather than a power switch, so it will power up and down without any issues. This is a great price. The product has not received any negative feedback from me and I will purchase more from this company.

The dual color LED on top lets me know what's going on
3/5

All right, I just have to deal with this. I like how there is a dual-color LED that indicates power and connection on the top. My only complaint is that it would have been nice if the cable connections had been detachable from the unit rather than on the side. I mounted it on the wall with 2-prongs. Tape that has two sides. In terms of quality, the NFC Pairing Tag works great and is There is an Avantree Priva III Bluetooth transmitter that provides a low-latency function that is better for sound delay, however it is not compatible with all Bluetooth transmitters. In addition I use a Logitech Bluetooth Adapter (PN 980000910) connected to my old stereo receiver, which seems to work well. As soon as the Logitech is turned on, it emits a pleasant "Connection Beep Beep". This is nice. I just installed it. Customers have reported an issue with the Link product, stating the range is quite limited and it is hard for it to penetrate the walls. Perhaps it is due to their transmitter, but I'd appreciate if the test results for their transmitter could be found To confirm its compliance with the Class standard, please follow this link.
I use this tool primarily An application that allows me to connect a Smart Phone directly to my house's receiver in order to access Pandora. There is no problem.

The sound is great but the auto-play does not work My wife has a new Fiat, the radio has an aux-in port
5/5

It works perfectly for automotive According to (3. ) It also contains microUSB (the size of a 5mm) and an auxiliary plug. The device turns on when the car is on, and off when the car is This is a medium audio quality The sound system works fine with Bose and there is no static (I had been worried about the The FLAC format is an audio format that is lossless (FLAC -) Please go to This is a Samsung Note 3 handset. Please go to (Not that I'm a golden ear or anything) The sound quality of this BT receiver is excellent. The receiver that one of my friends has is BT without any name on it, and given a blind ABA, I can certainly identify it The cons are It will not automatically connect when powered on, so you have to connect it from the phone. This is a dead simple thing to automate, if you have an Android phone with car mode installed (plugins/secure settings/actions/connect to Bluetooth TP-P). Here's the link. It's likely that this is because the designers targeted the home market, so they included always-on outlets (although many HT receivers do have switches).
