Questions & Answers

am not opposed to paying for a good product, but I want to be sure what I am buying. Please explain to me why 150 is a good number. An item similar to it costs 35 instead of 00. Is it 20?

During the installation of a sound system in a restaurant/bar, we installed a professional sound system. As Bluetooth's original purpose was phones, I don't like it for high fidelity as it's incompatible with the high demands of high end audio. Although the customer had specified Bluetooth that could be used to send data from their phones to the system, it was not compulsory. We used a cheap unit as the first unit to be installed, and we encountered interference problems with the building structure, other sources, and lack of distance from the Also lacking was the quality of the sound and the output voltage was low, requiring additional pre-amps I am amplifying. In place of the lower cost unit, we replaced it with the Auris True Hi-Resolution I purchased The Amplifiers' Wi-Fi unit, which solved our interference problems, increased the range of ability for the signal to work, presented superior sound quality and provided enough output voltage to eliminate the preamps The amp. The product that they provided was impressive to me, and this would be the only unit that I would consider using in a similar installation where Bluetooth compatibility is needed. plan on using this in the home, it may be a bit overkill given the distance to your sound source (phone) or the need to eliminate extraneous noise, but the audio quality is far

When I try to pair my Auris blume with an amazon alexa device like the Echo Dot, it does not work?

As well as you, I have this problem. During this review, I tested the Echo Dot Gen 2 and Gen 3. Both the Auris and the Nexus 6 see BT as an option. I have a cellphone that connects quickly, provides excellent audio quality, and has a long My next step will be to try out a Generation 4 Dot.

Is it possible to use digital audio out and analog RCA out at the same time?

It doesn't seem that much of a hassle, so I'd like to try it. Digital output is the only output I use.

Can I use the USB power / RCA / SPIDF cables with the product?

Sony/Philips Digital Interface (S/PDIF) is a digital audio interface that includes a fiber optic TOSLINK port so digital audio signals transmitted in S/PDIF format can be sent out of the device. In cases where the amplifier you are using has an optical audio input port, using a TOSLINK cable (not included) provides two channels of high-resolution audio The RCA connection allows for only one channel of analog audio, which is not as high quality as digital audio.

Selected User Reviews For Auris Blume HD Long Range Bluetooth 5.0 Music Receiver Hi-Fi Audio Adapter with Audiophile DAC & AptX HD for Home Stereo, AV Receiver or Amplifier

This is a superb The Bluetooth receiver I chose to purchase took a great deal of time to research
5/5

In regard to my amplifier, it has a high power rating I originally purchased a non-integrated deck with DAC but was dissatisfied with the quality Since I thought the Auris BluMe was overkill, I decided to get a DAC receiver. First unit had terrible connectivity, so I had to return After careful consideration, this receiver or the Audio Engine B1 Premium clinched the deal. The reviews I read mostly concern themselves with the former Auris BluMe model, so bear that in mind when doing research. There is an upgraded version of Bluetooth 5 with this one. The Audio Engine B1 has the same AKM4396 DAC chip as the Audio Engine 0, but is $70 less expensive. In addition to walking out of the basement and up a flight of stairs, I did my best to have the unit lose its connection to my phone, but it just kept A very high level of workmanship is evident. A total of eight devices can be paired, and connecting devices is very simple. A dedicated DAC would probably be purchased by music lovers if they want It seems to me that this DAC is still adequate for the majority of users when This unit now has four clear pads for the base so that it won't scratch any surfaces that it is A USB power cable is included, but not the power brick, and an RCA cable is also included. It does not matter that I don't have a power brick. My amplifier takes 5V from USB, so I don't need a power brick. A Toslink digital optical is not included in the box, however. It's easy and does not cost more than $10 to get the FosPower 24K gold-plated Toslink Digital Optical Audio Cable on Amazon. In summary, you'll save yourself $70 by purchasing the Auris BluMe. The decision will be a good one.

Does it have good sound quality but is it very easy to use? It is a quality home theater receiver that was originally listed at $3500 that I wanted to make lazy couch potatoes out of so I added Bluetooth to it
4/5

Despite not being specifically described in the instruction manual, the flashing light mode has two distinct There are two sets of flashes, one shorter fast burst of flashes which indicates pairing mode and the other a longer slower 6 (I think) set of flashes which indicates that it is waiting to connect to a paired device from its list. It seems so simple, easy to use, but is it as good as it sounds? With the digital toslink output, it sounded good in my system. It sounded even better with the RCA output, which, if I were to guess, would be the most common It's really not that great. There was a blanket that masked the sound of the music. The sound quality of my receiver is not good at all, given that it uses a 10 year old DAC chip. This is a big sign that the onboard DAC is not up to par. This should be a world-beating upgrade over the sound quality provided by my onboard DAC. There is no way to get close to it. In the end, it must be equipped with Please buy if you meet the following criteria If you are planning on using Toslink and think 5 stars is a pass, then In your mind, 2 stars is all you should use and you plan to use the RCA.

I'm all in for hi-fi! We're replacing a $20 Logitech receiver that's hooked up to a vintage Yamaha amp and JBL speakers, which are definitely higher-end consumer items
5/5

It's amazing what a difference the DAC can make. When I was 10, I could tell the difference between a CD and a Logitech. Now, when I am in my 80s, I cannot tell the difference between a CD played from my high-end Sony player and one played from my Blume. This is amazing. A soundstage that is open and well defined, just as if you were listening to Among the detailed music I listen to is jazz, smooth jazz, and more detailed songs like Enya and Meav's. The Audio is flat and empty in contrast to the Logitech's light and open Even though there are six times more dollars involved, it is well worth it. The DAC has to be connected if your equipment does not have an internal digital converter (DAC). I'm listening live to Beth Hart right now and I'm feeling chilled by her performance. I am pleased to inform you that I have listened to this album for three weeks now and I still enjoy.

I love the ease of use and great sound of this product
5/5

In my search for a dedicated DAC/Bluetooth 5, I looked at a few models. The adapter has zero ports. A nob, switch, or display wouldn't have been useful to me. I can connect either my iPhone or Dell Windows laptop via Bluetooth to the device. I was able to set it up easily. With the RCA plugs I plugged the receiver's tap play input into the television. It took some time for me to try both my turntable and the Auris and I found the difference to be insignificant. The difference is so subtle it is hard to tell. It is only discernible if you concentrate. The device has been a great purchase for me. This can be attributed to my vintage Sansui G6700 receiver powering a pair of Polk tower speakers that are well-balanced, with good low frequencies and a soft high end. In summary This sound generator is easy to use and awesome to listen to.

I love how easy it is to use and install
5/5

The idea of using my iPhone for audio playback on my system was a friendly one to me, so I reluctantly bought it. The other streamers I have seen seem so much more expensive. I was looking for a unit with a hard drive so that I could download audio My usual unit would download the whole CD and had no option to download songs that I like. And they were expensive. So, I thought, why not use my iPhone and see how it sounds. The iPhone can play different play lists and can even use my MacBook I connected it easily by taking the two RCA cables (2 are included) and connecting them to the input of the preamp or receiver, then connecting Using blue tooth to connect to the Auris Blume unit was very easy. I enjoyed listening to music from my iPhone, it was great Playing vinyl or CDs is much better than using the CD Transfer. Using a CD as a source, the sound is very soft and the sound stage is smaller than with the music from the CD. However, I'm happy with the $119 and would recommend it to others. 1000 am - 1100 am I found it to be an amazing deal.
