My first Bose Sounddock was one of the first to feature Bluetooth in audio devices. It had not yet become a standard or popular feature in audio devices ten several years ago. It is based on the LAYEN BS-52 This Bose Bluetooth Receiver 30 pin Adapter has made the conversion from an older device to a Bluetooth enabled sound system easy. It was a total surprise to find out this type of adapter was available, very easy to install, and works very well with my iPhone for playing music on the Bose system. 1) to save it from being discarded. As the successor to my older iPod, I wanted to find a way to salvage my Bose SoundDock V following several upgrades of my cell phones. Do you remember when Apple (greedy f's)? Is a) forcing people to purchase all new power adapters because of a changed power pin? This makes me angry! I hate Apple because of this. Now I can use my original Bose SoundDock on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and my friends' iPhone 5s as well. A little pricey at almost $50, but this restored life to a speaker system that was bought for $300 or more originally and should last for a very long time. Insurance is what that is. I'd like to pay my respects to the elders of the tribe Changing their ports ever so often is hard to deal with. I will never rely on them.

I'd been unable to use my old Bose docking station with my Bluetooth projector for years now finally have a chance to put it to use. The bluetooth speaker sounds much better than the built-in I got lucky because I had an old Bose dock with a serial number of 3xxx, so i had no noise.
