The old iPods built for it have served me well, I've had it about 10 years. Three things to know. The Coolstream Duo I bought five years ago was also for the same purpose, but was much more flimsy and plasticky. If the music was soft or quiet, the device created static background noise which was really irritating. As far as I'm concerned, it works fine. The Signal reception is also much better than the Duo, which I also believe has better sound. When I'm in my house of 2 stories, I can still walk up and get perfect reception with the iPhone X. It is difficult to find a way to improve on this unit.

So I could use my old Bose Sound dock again, I bought this. My first impression was how easy it was to set up, and how well it worked. I have been using it flawlessly for over a month now, just connected to the dock and connected to it via Bluetooth. I found this little Bluetooth device to be an excellent replacement for my old Bose dock.
