Although I am able to connect to different TVs in my house, the process does not happen The TV audio out device I use to connect to the Avantree transmitter is an optical cable. It is usually used with the TV in my family room and headphones/transmitter. On the other hand, I sometimes want to use it with the bedroom television. After I disconnect both the optical cable and USB power cable, the transmitter is powered by the USB port, from the back of the family room TV, and the USB port is connected to the TV in the bedroom. The sound I receive will be from the TV in my bedroom, so I will only be able to listen to it on my headphones. Since the Avantree transmitter is not hooked up to the family room TV, the sound will not spill over to the headphones. Here is more information about It is only possible to pair one transmitter with the headphones. It is possible to use two Avantree headphones at the same time. A three-channel TV would have worked with any of the three ways to connect the transmitter to my TV any of the three could have been used A year ago It is the old regular format. This is not "smart" behavior. The Samsung 20" monitor). Neither the instructions nor the transmitter specified which connection method would provide the best sound, so I first went for the easiest way and connected the "Audio Cable" to the "AUX Audio Out Headset" connector on my TV and the other In the end, I decided to disconnect the Audio Cable from the TV (do that if you began by connecting it) and connect the "Optical Audio Cable" to the "Optical Out" connector on the TV. The other end went If you are using "Optical Audio", the process is slightly more complicated, because once the cable is connected, you must select "External Speakers" and "PCM Audio Format" on the TV's menu to get it to As far as the sound quality is concerned, both connections gave excellent sound (I could not tell the difference), and both connections muted the external sound on my particular TV when the "ON/OFF" switch was in the ON position. I had trouble finding the USB port on my TV, because it was hidden under the There was no back to the TV, as we thought. It was on the side. To ensure that the transmitter is powered, you need to connect the USB cable to your TV and to the transmitter. I took the headphones out of the box and they were already charged up, so the power has been provided by a rechargeable battery. How to turn on and off the headphones was not mentioned in the instruction manual. One of the buttons on the left ear is silver Each earpiece has an "L" and "R" engraved in a faint manner on its adjustment piece. Pressing and holding down the earphones' button until a voice tells you that they are connected takes a few seconds. By turning off the earphones in the same way until the voice says "goodbye" I say "bye". The instructions could have been a bit more clear, especially as they related to the earphones, but they were otherwise clear enough for my purposes. It was quite easy to set up the transmitter and earphones once I understood the instructions (I'm quite slow when it comes to directions). This is a great set of earphones that are comfortable to wear, easy to adjust, and produce excellent sound that does not leak A plus sign (+) and a minus sign (-) The volume can be adjusted by pressing the " volume" button on either side of the silver ON/OFF button. I am extremely happy with this unit's design and am pleased with it overall.
Why would Avantree not include what is necessary for use of the product?.
However, the headphones did not work at all when it came to volume. In order to determine if they were defective, we called customer service. The customer service representative told us send would send a detailed instruction guide. We never received this guide. It was easier just to send them back and order a newer model. (Not that you would have understood them anyway). In the end, I had to call the 800 number for help since I couldn't figure out the audio out either. In the recording, the recording started off by forcibly making me take a short survey for 3 minutes! When I refused to answer the questions, I was forced to hang up by the voicemail system after listening to a speech for more than three minutes without being given the option to skip it and talk to someone else.
In addition to using a blue-tooth transmitter that streams television and movies directly to my hearing aids, I also have hearing loss. If I had initially used the Avantree headphones instead of the ReSound TV transmitter, I could have save $279 that would have gone towards the ReSound TV transmitter. The Avantree headphones produce a more natural sound, and I do not need to use my hearing aids. In the near future, I will buy a second Avantree headset for my Arizona home once I have a little extra change.
My life has been changed by these! This eliminates the problem of my TV disturbing others in the house, which I was always concerned with. The TV's regular sound out option can easily be switched back when I no longer want to be wearing them. I can hear every sound clearly, and they are easy to turn on and off. It does hurt my ears after a few hours when I wear the headphones, but it is something I expect when I wear them. It is important to note that the headphones are very comfortable and block out the majority of outside noise. I find these are a wonderful device and would recommend them to anyone looking for one.
It worked fine at first, but then the headphones started to not pair with the transmitter after a few weeks. We could not get any of the automated processes to work despite the excellent and persistent assistance from Avantree Support. It is a very disappointing experience for me.
I was able to set them up and use them the first night. The next evening I was able to access them but there was no audio coming from the television. It's on and this is connected or turn off, and the voice prompts are normally working. Weird. From the first night to the second night, the only thing I did We've tried power cycling the transmitter and checking the optical cable, as well as setting the TV to TV output. As it should be, everything is fine. My disappointment was further increased when I had to send these back and look for another brand of the same quality.
The headset is equipped with a volume control that produces outstanding sound. Setup takes only a few minutes - It was extremely easy to set up and offered several different ways to connect. It also offered the best range of reception of any Bluetooth device I have. I'm happy , and my wife is happy that we no longer have to watch TV at a volume that can deafen us. This is perfect for watching TV at night after she has gone to sleep. An investment to save your marriage.
