Questions & Answers

Which Wattsper channel do you want? How many would you like?

The tuner does not serve as an amplifier, since it only provides 0 watts per channel

Is there a remote included with this?

The tuner works very well. I live in the outback, and it works fine. Only complaint is that the clock does not keep good time, and that it has an Euro connector for the FM antenna. In particular, antennas supplied with the U-connector are made for use with an indoor antenna, but if you intend to use an external antenna, as I have to (the antenna is located in the attic on a rotator), you need an adapter. A coaxial cable connector of the standard type.

Do you think it can be rigged with rack ears?

As far as I can tell, there are no As far as I can think, the only option would be a shelf that can hold the earphones.

Can you tell me what model number the remote has?

RC- is the model number for the remote control

A tuner that is far and away the best $150 tuner available
5/5

My NAD 4155ST is about 15 years old and I just had a minor repair done on it. I bought it for about $400 about I went looking for a replacement when I realized it would give up the ghost sooner or later. It is hard to believe what just happened. Tuners are hard to come by these days, so when I found the TEAC at less than $200, I figured it would at least serve as a temporary measure until I could find something better. Having stopped looking, I have no desire to search. In addition to having great reception, this device seems to be built like a tank, and has the same functionality as my NAD. As I mentioned, I'm actually shocked at some of the audiophile features included with little fanfare (gold-plated RCA jacks for example), in addition to extensive programming and preset options that you don't have to use if you don't want to. If you really want to get into this, there is a clock and built-in timer, as well as the ability to store 30 AM and 30 FM stations in its memory. Moreover, it includes a functional remote control. Tuner of excellent quality. I highly recommend this book.

Quite pleased with the results
5/5

It's kind of ironic, since I still like to tape certain shows off of This tuner was just delivered to me. It is very simple to set up. The sound is very clear I will be firm, but not cruel. Tuner on my (admitably cheap) Pioneer receiver is as good as the tar on it. Before, I was the owner of nice equipment (for example This is a Cambridge Audio recording). After much consideration, I decided I wanted a good tuner (damn it) that was also affordable. I find this to be exactly what I'm looking for. I have no trouble keeping track of channels. In this case, the remote is more of a bonus than a necessity. The result may be that I rely on it more and more. It seems Tuner has a sleep mode, which might be useful for some users. There is no tuning strength meter, but when you are on the exact frequency, you can see these two red icons A stereo track tuned to perfection. A. P. The rack mount ears for it should be available separately if you want to rack mount This can be done with a Middle Atlantic rack tray in which you can take the feet off the unit, velcro it to the tray, and then mount the unit to the tray. Whether or not it works is irrelevant.

The Teac TR-300 A tuner with a 670 volt output
5/5

In the end, my Heathkit tuner went up to the peaceful place up in the sky after more than 40 years. Although I saw receivers, I was more interested in a tuner than a receiver. A colleague said that I should try Amazon, because you never know what might happen. I wasn't thinking about it at all when my boss suggested it. I found this Teac tuner on the web and then read the specs on the Teac website. I think that's pretty good! After doing some more checking on Amazon, I went back. The vendor that I finally selected had a great track record and I placed the order. I cannot emphasize how quick it came and how well it was packed. The tuner was exactly what was described, perfect in every way. I even found a classical music station that I could not pick up with the old unit. In the future, I would buy this product from this merchant- Sure, I'd do that!.

The Teac R670 is a good tuner with a decent price
4/5

My old tuner recently died, so I decided to get a new one. It works well for the price and is easy to use. The reception of both AM and FM is good, although my Tivoli Model Two radio performs better on FM frequency. There is a lot more to AM than to Everything you need is here - modern conveniences, everything you need I've used digital tuning, automatic presets, etc. All of these functions, although "seek" tuning is a bit annoying. The good, old-fashioned way would be great for me The knob has an old-fashioned look. Getting it started is easy - just plug it in and you're ready to go. Among the connectors are some antenna connectors, as well as one line output. With this radio, you get an AM loop antenna and a typical 300-watt radio The antenna is a 75-ohm T and a converter The coaxial cable has an impedance of ohms. Having said that, if it's in a good place, this would be more than adequate. Near as I can tell, the tuner works fine. The equipment is unlikely to be the cause of the system's limited abilities, so it is not likely that the equipment is the cause. The weak point of FM radio is that it's not so dependent on the tuner you get. So long as you can tune it accurately, it will probably sound the same. It's obvious that AM has nothing to say about fidelity, but it's not really a question. The reason they play only oldies and conservative talk is because they are smart. It has a blackened stainless steel lid, blackened aluminum faceplate, and an electroluminescent display, which gives it a very nice appearance. There was one thing that completely surprised me, and that was the size. The thing is big, even if it has a standard width. There are three inches of height on this. The number of features in car radios is increasing every year, so I can't imagine the need for the super-refined one Boxes of giant proportions. It is at least an excuse for my dad to have a Heathkit, though. Due to the size of 12ax7 tubes being 2 inches It fit into my rack OK, but I was surprised by the size, as the tuner it replaced was just over 1 inch tall. i guess the idea of a separate component tuner has become a little passe (when I went to Circuit City they had NO IDEA what I was talking about "NO! It's not a receiver, it's a tuner. Yes, I'm aware you can get a tuner, and an amplifier in the same box"), but that's the stuff I needed, and it works fine. With a price of $117, it can hardly be argued.

My Sony FM tuner developed a lot of noise when listening to stations, so I began looking for a replacement
5/5

This product performed well at a reasonable price. If I could ever find a component tuner, I would be very satisfied. Amazon had this TEAC model I was looking for, so I was very happy to find it. There are 30 stations to choose from, and the sound is amazing! I think the preset selection has really pushed the boundary with so many options. I found the setup and use of this product very simple. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product's performance and the.

An overview of the Teac TR-100 Tuner for an AM/FM radio model 670
4/5

In short, the With the 670, Denon's analog AM/FM tuner, which has been used since 1983, has been replaced. Unfortunately, the Teac tuner's manual is lacking in important details and set up is not intuitive. Despite the fact that the sound quality is just fine, some users might find the clock feature of the tuner This Tuner performs considerably better than the Denon tuner in terms of audio output level, and there is no frequency drift when using the digital tuning protocol. In my application, power to the Teac tuner and associated electronics in my control room for recording studios is shut off at night. This is clearly one aspect of the tuner that I find the least appealing. When power is removed from a tuner, it will not come back on when it is restored A manual switch is required to turn it While the TR-7000 is a quibble that can be easily overlooked, those who are in the market for a component AM/FM tuner will be satisfied with it. The performance of 670.

Tune up your components with this The tuner was required when we switched to a self-powered speaker bar and the receiver was not necessary
5/5

This turns out to be a good product, is simple to use, and does the job Use it and set it up. A larger display (mainly the clock) would be more useful, but it would not really make a significant difference.
