Gps that I purchased in June of 2018 for both a tractor trailer (53 footer) and a straight truck. This gps will bring you on roads that trucks are not allowed to be on. The drive will take place on parkways and backroads. Upon calling customer service to inquire about the issue, the only answer I received was to do an update even though the GPS was up-to-date. It is not something I would recommend to anyone. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TRUCK GPS, THIS IS NOT IT!.

This is the most disappointing thing that has ever happened to me! Simple to use and set up, the user interface is very intuitive. This is by far the worst truck gps I have ever used. It starts to cause problems as soon as you start using it. I had a very frustrating experience with it in the Northern Maine area. I was surprised that the GPS would flag roads as car only routes that I knew were fine for me to drive on. It would then try to steer me down a path I didn't intend to take. TomTom helped me figure out the issue at first since I thought I set it up wrong. The teches walked me through each step and checked to make sure I had set it up correctly. As a whole, this purchase has disappointed me a great deal. Keeping TomTom out of the trucking business would be a wise move. Don't try this at home. Let Rand McNally and Garmin do it for you!.

I use this GPS to find the route. It claims to be for trucks, yet it takes me to more scenic parks that trucks cannot access. The book would not get any stars from me. As a result, I only gave it 1 star because it refused to allow me to submit my.

The new Tom Tom was totally different from the old style one! The navigation was off by over an hour and a half, sending me off the route and not showing an address in the search engine. Tom Tom designed it poorly. I didn't find this product worth the price.

A good GPS device could have been built around this. Having an account with TomTom would have been a great help to me. The traffic, weather, and other updates are only available if you have a user account. Updates to the maps will also be made. As for the TomTom trip planner, which prompted me to throw away my Garmin in the first place, it is a great trip planner that I was really impressed with, and I looked forward to integrating it with the gps that I purchased in the first place. To use the app which is downloaded to your phone, you need to have an account and be logged in. My account was not created so I attempted to make one. She would not allow me to enter. I already have an account, it says. To reset your password, click on the reset password link. The aforementioned method is not viable. Basically, you get an error saying you can't reset your password. My problem is that I cannot move forward. To send an email or to call a phone number, TomTom does not have one. That means I have to go back to Garmin.
