Is it possible to charge the unit using the USB charge cable that comes with the unit by plugging it into a USB outlet in the cigarette lighter?

If you are asking about the one with the cigarette lighter plug, then I assume you mean that one. You do, but you have to make sure the USB plug that goes to the GPS goes all the way into it. How can I tell if it's true? During the installation process, I had a few bad moments since I wasn't able to get it fully inserted. GPS displays a warning if you try to do this when the battery is not charged "This will not charge the battery!".

Is it possible to use it for automobile routes as well?

If you want to mount it inside your car, you only need a way to do that. With this, you will be able to mount your motorcycle.

The prong connectors on the mount (not the GPS) should be handled with care

I had a problem with my handlebar mount sticking in every time the rubber cover I used to protect them from the weather was removed. Once, I had to use tweezers to pull it back out, and then it came off the third time. An entirely new handlebar mount must be ordered. It is frustrating to have to re-write On my Goldwing 2018, I ran the wire. In any other case, it would have received five stars, but that cheap mount is not only not durable, but you also cannot lock it into the Zumo XT. In the event the bike is left unattended, the lock has to be removed.

This scam involves a red light camera

**UPDATE******
I was also contacted by someone else from Garmin today, who told me that the RLC issue was actually their own database issue. Eventually, I was able to get my red light cameras working after some back and forth troubleshooting. In the box, you get red-light cameras but you only have a 30 day trial. However, in the app, you get a red-light camera with every text you send. In 30 days, they remove RLCs and after spending a ton of time researching and contacting Garmin support, Alex informs me that RLCs aren't available in the United States. So they lure you with a feature (on their website stating, "Get alerts for hazards that may occur along your route, such as sharp turns, speed changes, "Until after the return period you will also be alerted of state helmet laws and red light/speed cameras") until they remove it and there is no option to replace it. The only Zumo model they list is the 590, even though these devices are incompatible.

I have tried two so far. In both cases, I tried, neither of them worked for various There is a problem with the mapping software. My customer service experience has been the worst, I spent more time on the phone with them than actually using the product.
