I'm attempting to get ready for a trip to Israel. Right now, I'm in the United States of America. I am unable to see anything on the device. Is it necessary for me to be present in order to see anything?

In Guyana, I found that not sure didn't work at all.

Only North America is pre-loaded on this GPS. If the satellite signal is strong enough, it will be able to detect your location in other locations.

It's emblazoned with the continent of Europe. This year, I took it to Portugal. By the way, I don't need it any longer.
