PER STANDARDS It's built with triple shielded twisted-pair construction and a tough black outer jacket to deliver data perfectly between your IEEE-1394a devices. The 800 Mbps bandwidth will be fully utilized by you.
SMOOTH DATA TRANSMISSION The BRENDAZ 9Pin/4Pin FireWire cable features molded-strain relief and PVC over molding to ensure error-free data transmission. By using twisted-pair construction, it is possible to achieve extremely high data transfer rates while minimizing data loss.

This cable was used to connect my Canon Optura 30 Mini DV camera's FireWire port to an Apple Thunderbolt 2 to FireWire adapter. Following the purchase of a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C to Thunderbolt-C to Thunderbolt-C to Thunderbolt-C to Thunderbol I was able to download video from the Canon Mini DV to my Mac using the C) adapter, and I was able to control the camera using the iMovie app. Despite the fact that connecting the camera to the Mac required three cables, it enabled me to download and edit my old Mini DV tapes. So far, this cable has proven to be dependable.
