Could be a little more secure

Could be a little more secure. If you move your laptop, you'll get a nasty message saying that you're not properly disconnected and that you risk losing data. Fortunately, I've never lost data on an external hard drive, but keep in mind that Firewire devices are not hot swappable (you can't simply unplug them; they must be ejected).

dissatisfying This product arrived quickly and appeared to be in good condition, but it never allowed me to connect my firewire devices to a live connection
