A total of zero packets are sent over Ethernet. The two of them did not work for a 50' run to a high-end HP rackmount gigabit switch, nor could they do gigabit, only The USB 2 version also worked for both of these. I tried 0 over ethernet and neither of them The cables were replaced by two other cables which were only slightly more expensive, and the other brand worked without any problems for gigabit Ethernet A total of zero packets are sent over Ethernet. In fairness, these cables were run close to power lines for 8' of the run so I would guess that it could be their lack of shielding and thin jackets that make them ineffective for longer runs, although I also tried them away from power lines and they didn't work either. Replacement cables I purchased had shielded twisted pair connections with gold connectors, rated Cat7, and cost $5 more than the original cables.
My goal for buying this product is to use it when I am working from home and need to be wired in. I've only had it for a short time and don't use it very often. The cable from my laptop wouldn't come out of it today, so I had to reinstall it. Whatever I did, it didn't matter how hard I squeezed or how little I squeezed, I still couldn't disconnect the laptop. I noticed the clear plastic piece was cracked after I was finally able to get it out. I am now afraid of using it in the future. I'm disappointed because I need to be able to disconnect from my laptop when I enter the office.
My hesitation was that I would receive a counterfeit item, but I received exactly what I ordered a genuine product. A clear Mediabridge label was on the box that contained the cable. Moreover, regular intervals are written on the cable itself with the words Mediabridge. I am pleased with the quality of the cable I received. As a result, my Xbox One has been connected to this cable. When I perform internet speed tests, I get almost the same speed that I pay for with my internet service provider. There is nothing I can complain about. After using it for several days without a single problem, I highly recommend it.
There is no doubt that this Ethernet cable is reliable and worthy. In addition to needing a long Ethernet cable that would reach the router in my room without compromising the network connection, I also needed a device that had excellent range with no noise or interference. My TV and laptop are directly connected, so I am able to get maximum speeds without encountering any connectivity issues. I can cast 4k quality videos to my TV without any difficulties, and I can do the same on my laptop via USB. Cables in various lengths purchased from Walmart were higher quality but more expensive. The Ethernet cable you receive from this vendor is a valuable and reliable investment for your internet use.
When I bought an apple tv 4K with a Gigabit connection, I went out and got this cable. If I were you, I would hook it up. In contrast, my router can tell me if a connection is gigabit by displaying a white solid white on the router. The color amber indicates it isn't. Plugging in this cable, I saw an amber light, NOT a gigabit signal. A different cable was used in other connections to be sure. As you can see the router is connected to Apple TV, and there is a white light on the router. There are gigabits. After 2 years, I realized what I needed to do. But I don't have a gigabit apple TV now I used to have them though!.
My family and I bought this when I started working at home in May 2020. The ethernet cord I bought a couple of years ago is a lot cheaper now that I have hardwired it to my router. My only complaint is that it is a lot cheaper now than it was Other cables I had tried had their connectors snag and break off repeatedly. This one, however, did not do that. It is very nice to have this cord with the protective covering so it doesn't get snagged on things. As I live in a Hobbit-sized home, the length of it is even greater than I need, but I would rather have too much than too little. If I need to purchase it again, I would do so.
In total, three of the 50' cables have been installed, one for the printer and two others for the televisions. Despite the fact that all are working perfectly, I do not detect any attenuation of the Even so, if you have a situation where running cables is difficult, and if your device operates on the 5 GHz band, and you have a decent device (or purchase one) that operates on that band, you might find that 5 GHz can offer better bandwidth GHz) eliminates the need for hard wiring altogether. In any case, if you are concerned that the signal will be intercepted, then that is.
I needed the 50 foot length. The distance it would take me to reach my computer would require me to pass through many rooms. The cord unraveled easily and is lightweight and sturdy. I weaved it underneath furniture, and under my carpet, and it fits just fine. I can watch movies better on my Mac laptop and I don't have to worry about running out of For me, it has taken a lot of frustration out of that. That is the best purchase I've ever made.
