No problems at all with buying a 50 pack. The punch-down at the end of the wire failed to cut the wire when it was punched. A couple of dikes were needed to cut I would not call that professional. I use Punchdown on every other brand of jack I have. A total of six jacks out of 20 were defective. The punch down has been double checked and it has been The attempt failed. I tried again to connect to the same jacks, but it did not work. I replaced the jack with another one and it worked. There is bad quality control on their part. I wonder if I will get a trouble call later on.
This was due to one of the contact wires in the plug contact area not fully extending so that it could not properly contact Replaced it as soon as possible. Other than that, I was pleased with what they did for me and I will use them again.
My job involved a lot of wiring, so I needed them. Initially, I was a bit concerned about the angled punchdown, but it was no problem at all. The punchdowns seemed to be easier as a result. I didn't come across any dead jacks out of ten. This would be the first product I would buy for Cat5e jobs in the future. It would be great to try Cat6 ones when they come.
I like the angled slots that make lining up the wires much easier, and the color pattern is simpler than other keystones I've used before.
It is easy to understand.
It helped me out quite a bit.
