Questions & Answers

What is the difference between it and a Razer Blackwidow X? In terms of volume, how loud is it?

This is my first gaming board, and it's quite loud, but the keys bounce back when they're played live.

If I buy two or three, will they arrive in Argentina without any problems with customs and without having to pay extra money and masomenos when they arrive?

Obtain a letter from your home country, send it to their offices, and they will deliver it to you. It is the best option.

What exactly are these omni-things?

Individual keys on your keyboard with adjustable actuation points are known as OmniPoint Switches. If you only want to press a few times and have the key already registered, for example, set your actuation point to the lowest (0. 4mm). These switches are only found on this keyboard. They are, in my opinion, extremely beneficial. Let's not even begin to discuss gaming performance. 100% I 100% recommend this board even though it is a little expensive.

This is the best keyboard you will ever own
5/5

I've bought a lot of keyboards, and my closet looks like a keyboard graveyard. Instead of learning how to use them or building my own, I seem to go through them on a regular basis. Many mechanical keyboards, such as the Corsair K65 Wireless and the Logitech G910 Series, have been in my possession. br>br>Every other keyboard I've ever used pales in comparison to this one. It's incredible how the keys bounce back and how you can customize the action point. In addition, the keyboard's material feel is a work of art. Everything is smooth to the touch and in general top notch. The plastics and rubbers feel high-quality and will no doubt last the test of time. br>br>100/10 I would buy this product again.

Garbage with a mushy texture
3/5

The switches are a pain to use. Like MX red silents, they're very mushy. br>br>Because the LED does not meet the MX standard, even though the switches do, you won't be able to swap out multiple keycaps without them becoming stuck. br>br>It's as if the wrist rest didn't exist. The way this keyboard is designed, it doesn't even come close to supporting my wrist; instead, it supports half of the heel of my palm. br>br>$180 keyboard with ABS keycaps. That's a joke, by the way. br>br>I got this keyboard because I game and code, and being able to change the actuation point would have been extremely useful. Sadly, it comes across as cheap and mushy in the end. It amazes me that it has such a high rating.

Pros: This is a PROFESSIONAL keyboard
5/5

- The quietest keyboard on the planetbr>- There isn't a number pad (which is great for mouse-related tasks). a lot of gaming)br>- a lot of gaming)br>- a lot swift, adaptable, and elegantbr>- It has on-demand mode when you disable the Windows key. Cons: No memory on the board to remember my preferences after a rebootbr>br>
- There is no tactile feedback when a button is pressed. Without realizing it, you've taken this for granted. )br>- - No number pad (inconvenient at work)br>- a scarcity of OLED display applications (due to the higher cost)br>- The profile switch macro record button cannot be remapped (fixed functions)br>br>conclusion: Don't buy this for the OLED display; it's nearly useless. Regardless, I am convinced that the switches are of the next generation. I can only hope that these switches, boards, and SDK are made available to hobbyists so that I can create a version with a better display, more functions, and programmability. Steelseries is working on a new version of this keyboard (likely with an upgraded or touch display), and I can say with absolute certainty that it is in development. If you have the patience, wait; if you don't have the patience, don't Go for it if you're not afraid to ball out. br>br>I don't usually buy new peripherals, but headsets, keyboards, and mice are always a good investment. TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL; TL DR This is a must-have for gamers; however, because I am also a programmer, I will be replacing it. br>Companied by: Rival 5: Steelseries.

It was nice, but it was overpriced
4/5

I also purchased a Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition TKL and reviewed it on Amazon in greater detail. br>br>Short version: I still have both, but I prefer the Razer, and the Steel series is collecting dust. I considered returning it, but decided against it because there is nothing "wrong" with the keyboard; I simply prefer the Razer, which was nearly half the price when I purchased both. br>br>I'm guessing the link to the Razer review will not work.

2 for 2 on flaws
3/5

Overall, it looks and feels good as a keyboard; the LEDs are some of the nicest and brightest I've seen, and I like how the cable routing beneath the keyboard works. My original Apex Pro TKLs, however, were completely warped right out of the box. It's annoying to try to type on something that makes a "dnnk dnnk dnnk" noise because it won't sit flat. br>br>I assumed it had something to do with the cable beneath it, but it doesn't. It's just a tad crooked on the inside. br>br>I purchased this along with a SteelSeries mouse, both of which were defective. I'm beginning to think I made a mistake when I bought these. This company sold me two pieces of equipment, both of which had flaws that were readily apparent. I was a bit let down.

It's a 4- a keyboard with a two-star rating My "U" keycap caught the switch on the way down, resulting in a five-star rating
3/5

It was fixed by using a Dremel to remove some plastic from inside the keycap and replacing it with o-rings. On all keys, there are ring dampeners. The majority of the work was done by me. The rings helped with the "U" key as well as making the travel distance shorter. If it wasn't a simple fix, I might have tried swapping it out with another copy. At this price point, there shouldn't be any issues with a cheap keyboard. When using the space bar in a quiet environment, case ping (for those unfamiliar with the term, this is the ring you hear when a key bottoms out) is audible. However, the overall sound quality is still excellent. Playing with an OLED screen is a lot of fun. I like how high you can set the actuation point on Omnipoint switches because they feel very smooth. You only need to touch them a few times before they register, which is great for gaming but a little annoying for everyday use. Thankfully, you can create multiple profiles, each with its own set of actuation points. I'd like to be able to make animations with the perl script. Logitech allows you to use key lighting. It would have been nice if the Omnipoint switches were on every key, but they are on all of the important ones. The plain reds on the other keys are a little scratchier, but they're still usable. Overall, the Apex Pro is the best keyboard for gaming I've owned (out of 5) despite its flaws. Overall, the Apex Pro is the best keyboard for gaming I've owned DO NOT PURCHASE IT AT FULL PRICE. $180 is a waste of money. Over much less expensive competition, the performance gain is at best barely noticeable. There were some flaws in the QC, and there are certainly better deals out there, though I'll keep this primarily for the Omnipoints. It would be an even better board if it were 65%, which IMO should be the gaming standard. Full-length TKL and full-length full-length full-length full-length If you play on low sensitivity and use your arm a lot, size boards may get in the way of your mouse. If you're not sure, I'd put a 65% or 60% board with linear optical switches (I use reds, but I heard good things about yellows) over this. If you're worried about the F keys, you could try another TKL. Your money would be better spent on a good mouse if you saved it.
