Questions & Answers

Is the Mac command key included in this model, as it is in other Apex models?

No, butbr>Macs can use nearly all keyboards designed for Windows PCs, whether USB or Bluetooth, but you may notice that the layout of some of the modifier keys on a Mac keyboard differs from the layout of a Windows keyboard, particularly the WINDOWS and ALT keys on a Windows keyboard, which are switched compared to the OPTION/ALT and COMMAND keys on a Mac keyboard. When using a PC keyboard with a Mac, this can result in incorrect keyboard shortcuts or unexpected key press behavior. br>br>A simple solution to this problem is to remap the Windows and ALT keys, as well as the command and option/alt keys, on the Windows PC keyboard connected to the Mac, so that the keyboard layouts mimic expectations based on the standard Apple modifier key layout, rather than what it says on the PC keyboard; for most Mac users who connect a PC keyboard to their Mac, this will dramatically improve their typing experience when using a PC keyboard. ALT Keysbr>br>This trick works on any Windows or PC keyboard that has the standard CTRL / Windows / ALT key layout, as well as all Mac OS versions: Either by USB or Bluetooth connect the Windows PC keyboard to your Mac with a Windows mouse. Click on "Keyboard" under "System Preferences". Click "Keys" and choose "Modular Key". On Mac OS, the WINDOWS key becomes the ALT / OPTION key; on Mac OS, the ALT key becomes the COMMAND key; on Mac OS, the ALT key becomes the COMMAND key; on Mac OS, the COMMAND key becomes the COMMAND key; on Mac OS, the COMMAND key becomes the COMMAND key; on Mac OS, the COMMAND key becomes the COMMAND In comparison to a standard Mac key layout, some PC keyboards have the "CNTRL" and "ALT" keys swapped as well. If necessary, use the same Modifier Key trick as described above to switch those. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>a keyboard shortcut, such as a screen capture (Command Shift 3) or a Close Window command (Command W Because of the Mac keyboard layout, it should work as expected. Obviously, this will not change the appearance of the physical keyboard, so you'll have to get used to the keys appearing to say one thing but actually doing another. However, if you are primarily a touch-typist, you may want to reconsider. This shouldn't be a problem if you use a typewriter and never look at your hands while typing. br>br>Essentially, you're reversing the Windows and ALT keys on a Windows PC keyboard (which become Command and Option/ALT keys when connected to a Mac), bringing them into line with the default Mac and Apple keyboard layout. As a result, the Windows key on a Windows PC keyboard becomes the new ALT / OPTION key on the Mac, and the ALT key on a Windows PC keyboard becomes the new COMMAND key on the Mac, just as it would on an Apple keyboard.

Is it possible for me to remove the switches?

You could, but it isn't a "hot swap board," so you'd have to unsolder them, voiding your warranty. If you're having problems with a switch, I'd simply contact them for a replacement.

Is there any anti-ghosting or N-key functionality on this keyboard? What is the significance of the rollover?

Yes 100% anti ghosting and N rollover on all 84 keys 100 anti ghosting and N rollover on all 84 keys 100 anti ghost

It's been less than three months
3/5

Suddenly, out of nowhere, this thing started acting erratically. The keyboard began performing over 13 THOUSAND keystrokes per second, opening all types of apps, settings, and anything else you can think of. After all of that, my PC finally crashed, but the damage it caused was so extensive that I had no choice but to reformat it.

This keyboard is everything it claims to be
5/5

NOT Apex 7, but the Apex Pro Keyboard is the subject of this review. br>br>It's great to be able to adjust the actuation! With their super fast actuation, I can tell a difference in games. Typing, on the other hand, is the polar opposite; with the super fast actuation, I make a lot of mistakes. Which isn't a problem because super deep 3 allows you to switch profiles on the fly and have one of the best typing experiences possible. The point of actuation is 6 millimeters. It's like having multiple keyboards at once and being able to switch between them quickly to suit the task at hand. br>br>However, there are a few drawbacks to be aware of:
- Waterproofing is not an option. Take it slowly and carefully.
- Omnipoint switches are only used in the main block. Not a major concern since you don t really use the other keys, but that is a good reason to make a 60% or TKL Keyboard with only omnipoint switches, no? After using% Once it is released, I strongly suggest purchasing the TKL version over the full version.
- The three will be avoided by wearing rings. I couldn't get the 6mm actuation point to work properly, and I didn't like how O- Rings can be heard on this keyboard, which isn't a big deal because it's already quite quiet without any O-rings. rings.

There will be no more thudding on the keyboard! For my son's birthday, I got this along with a Rival wired mouse
5/5

He and his friends play a lot of Roblox, and I often hear him pounding his desk in frustration because his wireless keyboard and mouse lag and leave him vulnerable in shooter games. He could hardly wait to get his hands on the keyboard and mouse. You can adjust the actuation of the keys, which is not only cool but also practical. The keyboard feels like it's built to last, nice and sturdy, and has a real nice mechanical feel when typing. You can make it so that you barely have to touch the key, to fully pressing the key all the way down in order to send the command. When he's playing a Roblox shooter game with his friends, I'll pop in every now and then to see how the keyboard and mouse are doing. He always assures me that they are in perfect working order, and that his click speed has increased significantly. I'm not a gamer, but I understand that if you're using subpar equipment, your competition will kick your arse. I haven't heard any angry fist fist fist fist fist fist fist fist fist fist fist fist fist fist fist fis In fact, I was watching him play the other night when he invited a Roblox YouTuber to his server. He became giddy and exclaimed that the individual was one of the game's highest-ranked players. He knocked out the YouTuber a few times, but he always came in second to him until the YouTuber moved on to the next round. My son was ecstatic and stated that the old wireless keyboard and mouse would have been impossible to compete with. You don't always hit home runs with gifts, but this could be one of them. If only he was more enthusiastic about doing his homework. 🙄.

I'm on the fence about this keyboard, so I'm going to give it three stars in the middle to represent not bad, not great
3/5

br>br>Let's start with the price, which is far below what I paid. I did keep the keyboard, so I'm not sure how much money I wasted on this. It would be more reasonable if the cost was half of what it is now. br>br>The rest of the keyboard has been reviewed by others. I've had no problems with the colors or software you use (I'm running Win10x64), and I already had a SteelSeries mouse, so I didn't have to do any additional software setup. When the keyboard appeared in their software, I was able to begin fiddling with the settings right away. This is a clicky keyboard, as I expected - You'd think you were in a newsroom if there were five or more people clicking at the same time. My previous keyboards had a much softer touch and made almost no sound, so the change can be jarring at times. I've attempted to switch to a more traditional gaming keyboard several times in the last few years, and this is the most recent attempt. br>br>There were a few things that disappointed me, one of which was probably due to my lack of understanding of what the device does. First and foremost, the software fails miserably when used in dual mode to keep keyboard and mouse colors in sync. Settings are suddenly limited to the lowest common denominator, so don't even think about it. It's fairly simple to set up each one individually to match. br>br>Second, there's this pressure that can be adjusted. I thought it would adjust the amount of pressure you "could" apply to the keys, but I was mistaken. That isn't the case, though. It has an impact on the amount of pressure you "need" to apply to the key in order for it to recognize that it has been pressed. A push will be triggered by lightly rubbing your finger across the key on the lightest touch setting. Then, on the highest setting, you must press the key all the way down. While this is supposed to be the main selling point of this keyboard, it isn't particularly impressive; however, once I understand the advertising, it does work as advertised. It doesn't seem to affect what I do in the least. I've been playing PC games since the days of two-color screens, and I've used so many different keyboards that I can't keep track of them all. For me, this is just another. I'm not sure I'll ever think "holy button push," but it was a pivotal moment with this awesome keyboard!br>br>That said, this isn't a bad keyboard. I'm keeping track of it and putting it to the test to see if it changes my typing style over time. The colors are very appealing to me. The addition of a USB port is a nice touch. The little wheel and useless screen in the upper right has me on the fence. br>br>Go for it if you've got some cash burning a hole in your pocket. It is not worth it if you are debating whether or not to spend this much on something.

I'm not sure if I received a lemon or not, but the certified renewed versions should be avoided at all costs
3/5

I'm not sure if these problems are related to the fact that I renewed the subscription, but here we are. The keyboard is extremely comfortable to use, and the build quality appears to be quite good. Unfortunately, the key sensitivity is also off, though I assume it can be adjusted. You'll notice that keys will register as pressed even if they haven't been pressed. It's a deal breaker in online games like Overwatch, where abilities have cooldowns and the keyboard chooses to use them without you touching the keys. It's also a pain to type in general because certain keys "stick" and repeat themselves 1000 times. Fortunately, I returned the keyboard the same day I received it because the issues were immediately apparent, and I went back to my old keyboard. I'm still on the lookout for a more comfortable gaming keyboard!.
