Exactly what I was looking for! In addition, I used this to place my computer on a planter shelf 15 feet above my desk and to run the extenders down for my monitor and peripherals. Unless you want to CONSUME batteries, the thing isn't that bad. My battery needs to be changed at least once a month even if I use it 4 times a week. My ground doesn't seem to be right at all, so I'm not sure what's wrong with it.

It is pretty straightforward to install (which is pretty well explained in the instructions), then pair the remote to the card by pressing a button on the card until the led on the card lights up, and pressing the power button on the remote to power it up. I was recovering from a surgery and had a mobility problem, so this unit was extremely helpful. A desktop computer stand is a great accessory to have if your desktop computer is difficult to reach.

SilverStone Tek ES02-E is the latest product from SilverStone, Inc. If you have a PC in a place that you can't reach, PCIE is a great technology you can use. It is difficult for me to move because I have spinal damage. The solution was easy to install, and I was able to just walk across the room to turn on my PC to turn it on from across the apartment. Easy to install in my PC (This only takes up one PCIE x 1 slot) and connects to the case connectors for the power and reset buttons as well as the motherboard headers for turning the PC on and off.

The gigabyte board works great with out any power problem - I'm not sure why other reviewers complain about the power usage. This is a clear indication that they aren't familiar with how motherboards operate. A spare PCI card was used to connect the device. Cabling that has been routed I now have the ability to boot my computer just like when I shut the door on my car. During a power outage as well as overnight.
