I had to download and install the FTDI VCP Driver to get it to work on Windows 10. It appears to be built fine for an environment where the computer/device is mostly sitting untouched, but its plastic housing and thin wires may not hold up to frequent plugging and unplugging. With a metal Raspberry Pi and GDB, you can run programs without needing RTS and CTS. There is no problem with the default baud rate of 115200 (all other baud rates have not been tried). br> br>
Make sure you connect the RXD >- The TXD can be used to convert the vice versa. On the Raspberry Pi, Black is 6 (Gnd) and Green is 8 (RXD - The White area is 10 (TXD-the White area) You're not allowed The Royal Exchange).
For me, the FTDI-S is always the best option Because I am having problems with Prolific wired cables The cable itself is very thin and is based on the same construction as the past ones. With Windows 10, I've had no problems using it.
It's a bit hard to maneuver because the wires are quite small. Could 26 ga be an option? Using Windows 10 without a driver allowed the device to work correctly. With no issues, I used this at 115200 baud. There was one green wire for RX and one black wire for common operation.
Cables that I used for testing were rated up to +105C and rated down to -70C It has been confirmed that the pins can be left in the 60C for several hours without any issues.
It worked fine, and the product was good.
I agree that labels on the leads would be cool, but I think that it is adequate.
It worked well for my purposes.
This cable was used to replace the previous one that was damaged.
