I've only spent pennies on them so far. So far, they haven't chipped or scratched. You won't be able to tell I didn't use anything other than my fingers.
Yes, it will function as a cap.

bung? These are flush-fitting caps that can be used to seal many EKWB product ports. There's no overhanging limbs or erect ears. Because they're made of plastic, it's difficult to overtighten them and damage the unit you're installing them on. I wish there was a little more of a discount because the seller bought them in bulk to save money on shipping. These are much cheaper direct from EKWB, but the shipping to the US for a single pack is horrendous, so it's fantastic that Titan Rig has kept these in stock for us.
All EKWB parts, on the other hand, are astronomically overpriced.
I've bought a lot of water cooling parts from Titan Rigs, and they've always been reasonably priced, with no excessive markup, and of good quality.
I thought these plugs would be a little bigger, so I used a bunch of them to get the same effect.
So these aren't metal, but plastic, and they're very light weight, but they still screw securely into the res.
Nonmetallic stop fittings are what I recommend. These were used to replace some plated ones that were losing their plating. There isn't a problem with this product.
I'm happy with the purchase I made. If you're unfamiliar with the term "Acetal," it refers to a type of plastic.
In comparison to metal plugs, it's pretty good at plugging hidden holes and preventing the introduction of new metals.
