Is it possible to get a hold of the 360mm when it comes The book has been calling my name ever since I heard about ?

Are there any differences between the Arctic freezer II 280 and 360 in terms of performance?

I think it depends on what your case is. If you want it to fill the whole portion or not, it also plays a role from an aesthetic standpoint. With the 360, you cannot go wrong.

Gamersnexus talked about how the 360mm version would use the rev2 am4 mounting mechanism. Does that apply to the 360mm version?

In the one I received, there was a revision 2 I was able to mount it easily There's a good chance that the old stock has already been sold.

How do I know if this is compatible with Asus Rog Strix Z590E?

The answer is yes.

It's big for a start! The reason I opted for the largest water cooling solution I could find is that I am a huge fan of silent PCs
4/5

ARCTIC has released a 420mm version of this highly acclaimed CPU water cooler, which was a pleasant surprise for me! Make sure the clearance of the case, the memory, and the motherboard are correct before you purchase the 420! Please read the manual before trying to install AM4 from the youtube video. AM4 is different than the 360 version on YouTube. The process is over an hour long since I spent over an hour installing it into the In spite of the case being able to fit 420 water cooling unit, I had to disassemble DVD mount bracket and remove two In the next situation, a top mount bracket had to be made to fit the radiator. There is a tiny gap between Arctic 420 fans and the radiator in the Arctic Series. There is enough clearance for the mounting bracket to fit, but not enough to cause a problem. In order to make it fit, one of the fans had to be loosed up. It was then that I ran into a problem with As I have the DDR4 4000 version, the heatsinks are a little larger than the ones on the 3600 version, which means the middle fan unit is hitting the memory modules and therefore can't fit into the system. To get enough clearance with RAM modules, I had to drill the mounting holes for the fan to be a bit bigger so that it could be shifted. An individual 4-pin plug is used to connect the pump and fans to the motherboard There are four pins in a You won't have any problems. In spite of this nightmarish installation, which was mostly caused by the size of the 420 version, I am extremely happy with my purchase! • Measuring instruments Using light internet for one hour resulted in Ryzen 3900X running on average 47 C, with a low of 28 C and a high of 66 C. There was almost no sound The sound pressure level is 27 dB at 2 feet. My CPU fan speed was 1550RPM. I used Prime95 to max it out and set it to max (1550RPM). A 69C CPU temperature is measured at a distance of 2ft with 6dB of reading at 2ft. * * * By setting your CPU fan speed to 1000RPM, you can lower the noise level to 29dB. It is loud at 2 feet, with CPU temperatures reaching 73 degrees Celsius I am very pleased with the During that time, the ambient temperature was 23 degrees Celsius.

Overall, this report is in the red Though installation was a bit challenging, I'm still happy with the new AIO solutions from ARCTIC.

Sadly, it only worked part-time
3/5

Once I installed it for a new build, I made the classic mistake of not testing it first. My CPU temperature shot up to over 90C almost immediately after I started my machine. Initial spins of the fans came to a halt, but then they resumed. I could only find reliable power to the unit if I held the main wire in a very particular position, after hours of diagnosis by Arctic on how to resolve the problem (kudos to the company, their ticket system is good), but not if I used the other suggestions. In this case, the unit needed to be returned as the issue could not be resolved by a consumer. The replacement could not be sent until the middle of next week My order will be delivered to me in late March at the latest, so I have chosen to go with Unfortunately, this 360mm CPU cooler doesn't seem to be as good as advertised. I was quite hopeful about its cooling abilities. I've given it 3 stars since Amazon and the manufacturer have both been responsive, but it appears I have been given a defective device.

I like it a lot! This AIO is great, but I hope to use it for years to come
5/5

Performance in terms of cooling is excellent, absolutely excellent. I run a Ryzen 3950x, and at stock settings, I can run this at very low speeds, making it almost I can still operate this at about 50% speed when the PBO is on and pulling 180w. The previous cooler I had was a Corsair H110i GT, and it was able to cool nearly as well, but you had to crank up the fans to almost unbearable The worst part (to me) was you could dim the lights but the pump was SO loud that it couldn't be turned down. When the fans were turned to their lowest setting on the H110i (550 rpm), you could not hear the fans, but you could hear the pump which was a much louder tone than that of the Despite the fact that I have not yet heard the pump at all with the Liquid freezer II, I'm sure that I will be disconnecting the fans at a later date to hear it for sure. In my opinion, there are a few constructive criticisms that I would like to make. Tubes are just too long for my taste, I put mine at the top of my case ( Thermaltake Core V71) and the tubes are just not as long as they could be. The second thing I would like is to be able to control the fans and The fans can be run separately, but you may want to come with at least one extension so that you can do that out of the box. A second fan connector near the pump might be helpful too as it will allow you to do that. I also think it would be nice if the screws to install a second set of fans were provided. The deal-breakers aren't deal breakers and the nits are a little annoying Those are picky criticisms if you ask me, but nonetheless helpful information. I. - It's ideal for people like me who like to have peace and quiet at times. My computer is quieter than my old monitor's transformer when my "quiet time" fan curve is turned on, quieter than a light bulb when it's off. Even though I noticed that when setting the fan header that the AIO is on at certain RPMs, there are some noises that can be heard. There is apparently a low percentage, the pump is still running, but the fans do not seem to turn reliably. It is therefore essential to keep the percentage at 10%. If you will, you can hear a little clicking at 15%. My question is whether this is a fan or pump noise, but I believe that it is a The fan noise is audible until about 25%, and as soon as it becomes audible, this sound disappears. This is likely just hiding the tiny amount of fan noise available at 30%. Although few people are likely to notice these noises, there are still plenty.

Among the best options on AIOs
5/5

If you can get hold of one right now, then this entire line of AIOs is the best value you will find. The tubes were even mounted in the front of a Lancool 2 mesh unit so it is front-mounted with tubes. The graphics card I am using is the EVGA GTX 1070SC. In reality, if your GPU is ANY longer than you want it to be then it won't In order to reach, the tubes need to be "just" long enough. In the future, I may have to switch from AMD to ATI because of the next generation of GPUs.
Currently the only issue is a lack of Eventually they came back in stock after I watched for weeks. There were only four left when I quickly bought it, and by the time that I acted, the item was Earlier today, another PC site had them in stock for about 30 minutes. Their stock is too low to keep up with demand. A 10600k overclocked to prime95 is dead even with my system. There were reports of the VRM fan being loud, but I'm not sure what they were talking about exactly. There is no doubt Arctic can help you figure this out if you contact them. turned the fans all the way up to the max just to see how loud everything would be. But it was still quiet, That is absolutely fantastic in my opinion.
