It wouldn't be a good idea to add food coloring. There may be elements in them that will promote bacterial growth in your loop, and they may also include substances that will clog It's better to buy pre-owned in the color you want If you use the clear pre-mix, you can use the colorant mix you want right away instead of adding unknown colorants Mix well.
Every six months, you should flush and clean and inspect your system to ensure minerals do not build up in your blocks and loop, check your system radiators and components like reservoirs and pumps, and make sure they are thoroughly cleaned. Check your rings to make sure they are not being built-up too much You need to clean up the white cloudy slime aka white cloud. If you do this your Loop systems will last long and long without having to be replaced. As for the two years, that is the shelf or storage life of unused products. Keep unused coolants in a cool, dry, dark location up until you're ready to use them again. Hopefully, this answers your question to the best of my ability.
My wife's build is using PETG tubing as a source of power. More than six months have passed since the coolant was last changed. Having used it for a while, I haven't encountered any issues.

Quite frankly, I prefer the clear version of this EK coolant since I do not like adding dyes to my loop. Before adding the EK premix, I was running ONLY distilled water and flushing the system a few times to clean it, and then I added the EK coolant (I had no coolant before, that was the first coolant that I used in this system loop). Then, 2 days after the photo above, I noticed the white patches on GPU and CPU blocks, as well as a nasty black spot on my CPU block as you may see on the photo below. As soon as it started, I thought there were just a few bubbles and later it would push its way out of the machine, but I was greatly mistaken. There were more white/black things growing on the blocks, and the channels in the water blocks started to clog. Evidently I did not think twice and flushed the whole liquid out. And yeah, it was covered in a lot of white and black stuff In the worst part of it all, I had to open all my blocks to clean them off with some distilled water and ISO 70%, since it was a new loop system. It's important to note that these white things were hard to remove from my blocks, so I had to scrub them off with a brush. It is also interesting because my whole system is copper when it comes to the GPU and CPU water blocks, fittings, tubing, everything is from EKWB both of which are from EKWB!
If you are considering buying this product, it is up to you to decide if taking the risk of ruining all your Waterblocks, fittings, and tubing is worth the risk. This is not a product I would recommend In order to remove the rest of the product from the rest of my system after I cleaned the blocks, I had to connect a hose to the radiator with a bucket at the end. As my wife held a bucket for me and pointed the hose to the bucket, I added more distilled water into my reservoir tank. That way, the nasty product would never come into contact with my CLEAN blocks. Two U have been used by me. Then I poured out S gallons to ensure that everything was gone. It's important to have a jumper for your power supply so you can fix your water cooling system in case something goes wrong! Obviously, I'm now going to use only distilled water with some biocide, and also something other than the one I've been using. How do you feel about the EK The end is here!.
It was already milky white after 30 seconds and then displayed some sort of reaction. Brand new loop and pre-programmed Distilled water is the only water you should use. Others reported it was nothing more than bubbles that would go away after a short time. When I looked down at the glass beaker, I saw a scale had formed on the inside of the loop. I quickly drained it, but it was already It actually had a white mess on the inside. It has been cleaned with distilled water for several times. It is okay now, but I will fill and flush it weekly for a little while. I guess these things happen, but it is easy enough to get another brand. Listen to the good reviews, but ignore the bad ones. It is likely that the loop was not prepared properly, thus causing their issues. Having water cooled pcs for a few years, I have a lot of leftover coolant, etc I have used EK cryofuel clear coolant for 20 years, and it is the best clear coolant I have The growth of algae and galvanic corrosion were never a problem. have even a loop with a very small amount of aluminum exposed (from the face plate of a bay reservoir) and my nickel plated blocks have no problem with it. At first, you will see a lot of bubbles, but they will go away after a few days.
It was the whole point to ensure the fluid was clear in order to reduce the problem where fluids with dye separate and settle in the reservoir, clogging Coolant was cloudy at the outset, and I decided to let it sit to see if it would clear In about a week, the cloudiness cleared up, but I am still left with that very same cloudy residue on my reservoir. Additionally, all of the CPU and GPU blocks are caked with what appears to be some kind of residue trapped in the fins. Now, when it's time for loop maintenance, the blocks and reservoir will need to be disassembled and cleaned. Consequently, the seal now has no energy to keep it together, increasing the chances of a leak. I only gave it one star because of its coolant and the fact that it works well when it comes to I find the overall experience.
A new build has been built with this. The parts are all of good quality. I flushed the system several times with distilled water, letting it run over night and afterward flushing it Two bottles of "CLEAR" were purchased, and I used one one to flush the system twice, and the other to fill it completely. In about 3 months, things were going well, when I noticed most of the tubing was getting a white film all over it, and I also began noticing white bits in the A little under a year later, the pipes inside of the boiler have a heavy yellow stain that won't clean off. The cooling blocks have white deposits, and a white ring has formed at the top of the fluid level in the boiler. Having cleaned out all my tubing, I now need to replace all my coolant tubing and flush everything out with high-quality I would recommend avoiding this product at all costs.
I went for a premixed fluid since I was on a tight budget. After flushing my loop and filling it with the Cryofuel, I started my experiment. My computer seemed to be operating just fine until I was away from my computer for almost an entire day and noticed that my water blocks had developed a thin white film on their nickel surfaces. Given that I had flushed my loop prior to filling, I'm sure that the particles in my loop were created by the cryofuel. This time, I flushed the loop once again and was able to run distilled water without any problems.
It is what I used to refill a Corsair H115i. I have included pictures after using the product for one year. A complete growth of growth and corrosion has covered the fins of the plate. I had to use a razer blade to remove the gunk from my teeth as a tooth brush and toothpaste did not work. Both women did not scrub their bodies with salt. There is a thick layer of biomass on the radiator. My recommendation is NOT to use cryofuel in any way. Refill an AIO using 50% car radiator coolant, and 50% water. Stay away from this junk when using an open loop water system. Use high-quality distilled water and biocide.
