Questions & Answers

My question is, I have read quite a few reviews that claim the tabs are a design flaw, Can the manufacturer guarantee that the tabs will not break under pressure?

There was a problem with all three of them that I owned. Specifically, the mounting bracket and how it connects to the water pump are designed to fail. If pressure is applied to the tabs, they may break, so you must be careful when installing them. Two of the breaks broke during the installation process and another one popped after about four months. As someone who has built PCs for over 25 years, I understand how to properly apply pressure when installing CPU cooling units. It would be best to wait until cooler master fixes this problem. It is hoped that next year's revision will be more robust in terms of mounting.

Would you be able to confirm the cooler's tdp is As a comparison, the listed figure is very low compared to that of ?

Nonetheless, we are still dealing with 130 w TDP in 2020. The 240 liquid cooling system should be suitable for most 200 and 300 watt computers The fan can be replaced with an Arctic or Noctua if a 250 tdp chip is installed.

Can the cooler be used with a mobo with a "Intrlg1151" ?

Thanks Nicholas, I think this liquid cooler AIO will be able to attach to an LGA 1151 socket without any issue. CM- Phan Nguyen

What are the chances that this will work with the z370 sli slim motherboard?

It will fit as long as there is a little space around the CPU socket (most of them should have more than enough space) Since the motherboard is a socket 115x motherboard, this CPU cooler will work.

The CPU cooler is great, but make sure it is installed properly
4/5

I saw some negative reviews on this product saying it doesn't cool anything, so I tried to figure out how they were able to install it. Following is a list of things you should keep in mind during installation I am* *br* To use the included (or your own) THERMAL PASTE, apply it to your CPU (not the copper plate on the cooler). I would appreciate it if you removed the plastic film! I am* *br* Your motherboard should have an AIO pump for the pump - Plug the pump in - (Won't work for am4 users) If you don't have the included brackets with your motherboard, this cooler will not function. Here are my thoughts With my Ryzen 7 2700x @ 4. 8GB/s I have had excellent results with this cooler. The 2Ghz band. As a result, the 29-day moving average has held steady At idle, the temperature rises to 31 C, and gaming is accompanied by 48 C and stress tests by 56 C. It is important to note that the base clock speed of the 2700x processor The 7GHz band. In addition, the pumps are operating at full speed and have fans with full speeds. It is possible for my Ryzen CPU to reach five GHz often, but this cooler keeps it below sixty degrees celsius at one. The maximum voltage is 5V. Fortunately, I have an AM4 processor, so installation was easier, all I had to do was slide the brackets into the slots, screw them in, and clip them to the motherboard brackets that came with it. It was a pain to manage the cables so I just didn't do it. The cables were too short to fit inside my management system and barely reached, so I had to extend them. I idled at 35C when using dot method, and am using RGB cable splitters (1 to 3). The kit comes with thermal paste (not the best IMO, I had to do an X to get good results). *Edit *br > As an individual who is not afraid of contradiction, I have installed this product with the plastic still attached. My first reaction when I saw the 9900k temps was to just think "it's a hot CPU, whatever," but when it reached 100C when I was playing games, I realized it was sticky, so I reseated it. Once I removed the plastic film from my case and applied the generous amount of thermal paste included, mine dropped down to 30C and my 9900k & 4700k were enjoying the cooler temps A 5Ghz processor did not go over 80C in stress tests neither did any game processor go over 75C. However, if I were to choose a cooler, I would personally prefer a circular water block due to its cost to performance to aesthetics ratio.

The installation process is easy! As I installed this on my Ryzen 7 2700x, it came with clips that would fit into the preinstalled Because I didn't have to unscrew the backplate or try too hard, I was able to do so without too much trouble
5/5

I like the way it looks and it works well. I have noticed a cooling effect of between an additional 15 and 20 degrees over my Wraith Prism cooler. AIOs such as this one are highly recommended.

The duration of time was around It was a fairly simple process We had a good level of noise
3/5

I liked the lights very much. It was supposed to last longer, but it was only a couple hours. It is evident that the design has flaws. It is possible that the retaining clip will break eventually. I read that many other models have the same issue. Stay away from this item. It could actually be worth trying an alternative brand, as Cooler Master dropped the ball once again. I am not interested in trying all their brands to find out if this is a flaw in all their coolers. Streamlining AMD and Intel processor cooling with Rosewill RGB AIO 240mm CPU Liquid Cooler, Closed Loop PC Water Cooling, Quiet Addressable RGB Ring Fans. It's a very disappointing experience working with Years ago I discovered there products, and now I'm a big fan. There's no point in staying on the bandwagon any more.

I love how quiet and easy it is to install and how well it works
5/5

In other words, I bought this unit to compare it to other air coolers that I've seen. My need for cooling was not greater. I really like how it works. Even with my ear right next to it, I am not able to hear the pump. There's no noise coming from the fans. It was really easy to install and there were no problems at all. CoolerMaster's website does not contain the model number, but I did some research and discovered that the model was specifically designed The CPU I'm using is an Intel i7 7700K. My fans stay at the minimum speed (I think 25%) even when I'm playing graphically intensive games whilst streaming to Twitch at the same time on the same computer. Excellent product. I highly recommend it.

I can't fault this cooler
4/5

There is room for improvement in the instructions. In terms of the Cooler itself, it is great. The RGB works well and has many settings and colors to choose from. As a result of the instructions I received, I lost one start. The pros are I am* *br* It took only a few minutes to install YouTube. I am* *br* There is no need for water or liquid to activate the device. I am* *br* It comes with installation accessories that are compatible with AMD and Intel (of I am* *br* There is, of course, work to be done on the installation guide. It is impossible for the mounting bracket that goes behind the Motherboard to remain in place without the cooler installed. I found this a particularly challenging process, since I tried to keep the cooler's back flush while trying to install the screws at the same time. It took me a third hand to accomplish this.

I was blown away by the price of this product
5/5

If you're on a budget, this product is a great choice. With its high performance, this is comparable to liquid coolers that are much more expensive. In light of the fact that it comes with AM4 brackets already attached. It's only the manual that's negative about this. Pictures are the only instructions provided, no written instructions. Since there are no labels on the pictures, it becomes difficult to follow them. It is still worth getting, other than that. My hope is that it will last over time (I only have it for a short time). Please note *Disclaimer As you can see in the picture, the RGB fans on the cooler are not the ones that come with it. The RGB fans were replaced with different ones.

A piece of plastic broke off the mount
3/5

In my experience, I had the same problem as the other reviewer who showed the picture of the cracked It broke in the exact same place each time after being removed and remounted a couple of Furthermore, there was a heatsink screw that should have been flush, but it was not screwed in perfectly straight, so the edge protruded a bit. While removing the heatsink I discovered a deep scratch in my Threadripper 2950X, which matched the screw that was out of position on the heatsink coldplate. It was my EVGA 400-series monitor that I ended up going with The CL28 is In comparison to V1, which was half the price, my CPU TCTL temperature was cooled by a 4 to 5 degree cooler (provided it had a smaller round radiator and coldplate not as big). There was nothing else to note about this cooler except that the fans were great.
