Questions & Answers

Hello, I have read that a number of reviews are saying that there is a design flaw with the rod. Can the manufacturer guarantee that the plastic tabs will not break?

There were three of these I owned, and they each had issues. mounting bracket and the way it attaches to the pump are the key design flaws. You must be careful when installing it since you run the risk of the tabs breaking under pressure. Two of my pops have broken upon installation, and another after about four months of use. Because I've been building PCs for over 25 years, I'm able to apply pressure in a proper manner If this is a problem with cooler master, I would wait until they fix it. In the next revision, I hope a better mounting system will be implemented.

Do the cooler's tdp numbers add up to 130 watts? In comparison with similar AIOs from cooler master, it appears to be very low. ?

In 2020, the total installed power is still 130 watts. Most 200- or 300-watt systems should be fine with 240 liquid cooling You can swap the fan for an Arctic or Noctua and you'll have 250 TDP chips.

Could the cooler be used with a mobo with a socket IRLLG1151?

Hi Nicolas, yes, this liquid cooler AIO should be able to mount to an LGA 1151 socket without any issues. CM- The LMG Campaign

Do you know if it will work with the z370 sli slim motherboard?

Since the z370 motherboard uses a socket 115x configuration, this CPU cooler should fit under the CPU as long as there is a little room around the socket (at least 95 percent of them do).

It is a great CPU cooler, but ensure that it is installed properly
4/5

Apparently, there are some negative reviews about this product that say it does not cool anything, so I figured, they must have faced installation difficulties. Below is a summary of factors you need to keep in mind when installing Please review
You will need to apply the included (or your own) THERMAL PASTE to the CPU (not the copper plate of the cooler)* - I would appreciate it if you removed the plastic film! Please note - Your motherboard should have an AIO pump where you can plug the pump in - fans with am4 boards) If you do not have the brackets that came with your motherboard, this cooler will not work! Here's what I think I have overclocked my Ryzen 7 2700x to 4. 2 GHz and this cooler works well. The 2GHz band. Throughout the year, it has maintained its 29-point average At idle, the temperature is 31C, but it can reach up to 48C during gaming and 56C during stress testing. It's important to note that the 2700x has a 3MHz base clock. The 7Ghz band. The included fans are also running at full speed and the pump is at full power. It keeps my Ryzen's CPU under 60C at 1 when it hits 5Ghz occasionally as Ryzen's automatic overdrive overclocks at a steady rate. Maximum voltage of 5 V.
Since I have an AM4, installation was easier, since I only had to install the brackets in the slots on the sides, screw them in and then attach them to the included It was a hassle to manage the cables, so I just didn't. They were too short for my setup and couldn't even get to us, so I had to extend. A thermal paste stick (not the best IMO, I had to use an X method to get good results, the idle temperature was around 35C) and a RGB cable (for splitting up to three lines) are included. Note

It doesn't bother me that it is still in the plastic. I, myself, have still installed this with the plastic In general, when I checked the temperatures of the 9900k, I just said, "Okay, it's a hot CPU, whatever" and then it reached 100C during regular gaming, and then I noticed it was slippery when I tried to reseat it. The plastic film was removed and I reapplied the generous amount of thermal paste that came with and my temps dropped by 30C and my 9900K and 9800k were running cool A 5GHz CPU was never over 80 degrees in stress test, and no 5GHz CPU went over 75 degrees Despite the circular water block's lack of aesthetic virtue, I still recommend this cooler, as it offers a good value to performance ratio.

This install takes only a few minutes! The cooler came with clips that you use with your pre-installed motherboard cooler mount, which is what I installed on my Ryzen 7 2700x! My work was a breeze since I did not have to unscrew the backplate or do a lot of work at all
5/5

I like how it looks and how it works. I have had my temperatures dropped between 15 and 20 degrees over the Wraith Prism Cooler because of it. My recommendation for this AIO would be high.

The entire process lasted around I found the installation to be fairly straightforward
3/5

I was not bothered by the level of noise. I liked the lights very much. The last one lasted just a few seconds, but I expected it to be It is clear that the design is flawed. It is possible that the retaining clip will break eventually. You might want to stay away from this product since other models have the same problem. If you want a cooler that really does the job, try another brand. Cooler Master drop the ball with these ones. Since I'm not interested in trying all their products to find out if they all have the same flaw, I won't test all of them. A Rosewill RGB AIO 240mm CPU Liquid Cooler with Closed Loop PC Water Cooling, and LED Ring Fans of Intel/AMD has just been purchased by me. As a result of CoolerMaster, I am very disappointed. Since I was a child, I have loved their products. The time has come to stop following this.

I really like how quiet the unit is and how easy it is to install
5/5

As such, I bought this unit for comparison purposes with some good air conditioners. This was not due to a cooling problem. I really like how it works. Putting my ear right next to the pump, I cannot hear it. It is so quiet it is hard to tell when it is operating. There are no noises coming from the fans. It was really easy to install and there were no issues at all. I did some research and found that this model was made specifically for Amazon. I couldn't find the model number on CoolerMaster's website, but I did discover that it was made exclusively for them. On my Intel i7 7700K CPU, I am using this program. It seems that the fans never speed up above the minimum speed (I think 25%), even if I play graphically intensive games on the same PC and stream live to Twitch. A fantastic product. I highly recommend it.

Cool cooler
4/5

I really like it. There is a need to improve the instructions. In and of itself, the Cooler is amazing. Using the RGB works well and there are a lot of settings / colors to choose from. One start was canceled due to the errors in the instructions. The pros are Please review
It was quick and easy to install YouTube. Please review
Just plug and play. There is no need to add water or liquid. Please review
Installation accessories are included for AMD and Intel (of course Intel), but there are some drawbacks Please review
I've got a few things to work on in the installation guide
- It is completely insignificant to mount the cooler behind the Motherboard because the mounting bracket won't stay in place. In particular, it was challenging trying to keep the back mount flush while at the same time installing the screws after forcing the cooler. This was too much for me to do on my own.

I was amazed at how good this product was for the price
5/5

Any person on a budget should definitely consider purchasing this product. There is a great deal of performance here that is comparable to liquid coolers that are much more expensive. The kit comes with AM4 brackets with this, so it is an excellent purchase. I hate the manual. It's the only thing that's negative about this product. It's not clear how to do it, only pictures are provided. Since there are no labels on the pictures, it becomes hard to follow them. The rest of the features make it a good purchase. My only concern is whether it will last long (I've only been using it Please note Disclaimer These RGB fans that you see in my image are not one of the ones included In place of the old fans, I have installed new.

Breakage of a plastic mount
3/5

A similar experience occurred with me as with the other reviewer who showed the picture of the broken case. During my first couple attempts to remove and remount the camera, it broke in the same exact spot. In addition, the heatsink screw that should have been flush was instead not screwed perfectly straight, so the edge of the screw protruded slightly. In the process of removing the heatsink I noticed that there was a deep scratch in my threadripper 2950X. The scratch lined up exactly with the gap in the coldplate screw of the heatsink. EVGA 400-series ended up being the best choice for me This is CL28 The V1 which is not as pretty was half the price, and had a CPU TCTL temperature cooler from 4c to 5c (with a smaller radiator and a There weren't many great features on this cooler, except for the fans.
