When I first received this charging cord, I was concerned that it wouldn't work with my Fitbit because mine has three contact points while this charger only has two. It didn't work for me when I tried it. I tried it again this morning and discovered that the issue was that I hadn't turned on my computer when I connected it to charge. I don't charge through a laptop with the original cord, so I'm changing my review to reflect that it arrived quickly, is exactly as described, and functions well.
While this is a charger for the Alta, there is no button on the USB end to reset or reboot the device. br>br> I used it to charge my phone a few times. My alta, however, appeared to completely poop out a few days later. When connecting the charger, there are no lights to indicate the status of the charge. It occurred to me that it might be necessary to reset it. I looked for a button on the USB (like the one on the original charge cord) but couldn't find one. The original is $3 on the Fitbit website. 95 dollars plus postage. I just wanted to make sure that people were aware of the reset button in case it was necessary.
I connected it to the charger, and it restarted with a nearly full battery and worked fine for a few hours before turning off again the next day. When I went to charge my phone, it displayed an exclamation mark next to the battery. According to Google, the only way to fix it is to reset it (which this does not have). I plugged it back in to do the reset because I didn't realize it didn't have it, and the screen changed to a fast-flashing sequence of all the screens. The Fitbit forum suggests letting it die, then charging and resetting it, so that's what I'll do when I get to work.
We needed a new charger, and I was having trouble finding one that had good reviews. I ordered it as soon as I saw it and it arrived promptly. For the past month or so, it has been working flawlessly. There are no issues because this charger is only for the Fitbit Alta HR. Excellent craftsmanship. I would strongly suggest it!.
My laptop is a Lenovo. The cables that come with the kit are clearly designed for this use. br>Connect your cables to the kvm switch's three inputs. Use the USB/HDMI cables provided to connect two computers. USB/HDMI support is required on the computers. br>br>You are responsible for your computer's cables (one of which is HDMI) as well as your mouse and keyboard (both of which are USB). I had a USB-based wireless keyboard, so I plugged it into the kvm switch's USB input. br>br>Hey, I wouldn't have posted if this hadn't worked out. It was a scream for me. br>It's all a game of chance. On this one, I came out on top.
It does exactly what it should. I misplaced the FitBit's charger, so I plugged it in the day it arrived. It charged my FitBit to 100% without any issues.
The charging cable that came with the device had broken. Rather than going to BestBuy or any other store, we decided to order a charging cable from Amazon and have it delivered to our doorstep. We were not, thankfully, let down. Within 5 minutes of receiving it, I was taking it out of the box and charging my FitBit. br>br>Works exactly like the original (except this one is still functional). I have no idea how long it will last, but I do know that it works.
